Excuse me for being cheeky about such a serious event, but I found it quite amusing that at one point Simpson was locked in a Vegas hotel room, in dispute, with three Vegas gangsters, and everyone in the room knew who was actually the most dangerous man in the room, and it wasn't them.

I think Ron GOldman's parents would not have agreed that he was not a threat to the community. He killed two people when he got mad, what was to stop him repeating it next time someone pis#$ed him off? I've always thought that he got acquitted because the city officials were afraid there would be a riot. There was a riot after the end of the Rodney King case, and that was not long before OJ's trial. In any case, the OJ story is a sad one. Such a waste.

I'm not necessarily sold on any particular theory regarding what happens when you die or how it relates to your behavior on earth, but maybe his denial that he was ill to the public and those around him was related to some fear he may have had about what waited for him in the afterlife. We reflect on these things heavily when our lives are coming to an end. Who knows.
