Thank you Lucy, this was an exceptionally helpful video for me! 🌷Especially also the part that what triggers symptoms may not have to do with the activity itself, but with something that may have been emotionally triggering on a different level and the emotion had been suppressed. Happened to me two days ago while sitting with a friend :-)

Hey:) Does lack of sleep cause symptoms glares too ? I notice if I don’t sleep well after I do an activity I feel not as well, but then again, a normal person would feel bad if they slept bad too

Lack of sleep can cause a symptom flare like any other trigger, it can be related to our brain associating lack of sleep with symptoms but also it is harder for us to feel happy and relaxed with less sleep. When I felt worse after a bad night sleep I would keep reminding myself what was normal for others in that situation and that my body should not respond in a way that is more extreme than that. It helped me just to feel reassured that it was a learned response from my brain to over react.

@@mindbodyintegrate Make sense ! When I do an activity that’s in fearful of, if I don’t get good sleep after it that’s where I have trouble, haha
