I 'm enjoying your videos so much Thank You! I found the Gel highlighters today at Walmart. Going to save up for those fancy pens though! I use to have to drive over an hour to go to Walmart but I'm now enjoying a new one that just opened this month that is only 2 miles from my house!!!
I totally agree with you about the Frixion Pilot highlighter. I does fade out the print. The green one is the only color that stays true to color. Thank you for sharing.

I love gel highlighters too. I have figured out that the Sharpie brand ones do not end up as shiny as the off-brand ones. But they are more expensive and not in as many colors. As far as writing in my Bible I either use a fine point ballpoint pen, or a regular pencil. Fine point ballpoint, pencil, and sharpie gel highlighters have worked best for me over the past several years personally. They do not bleed through at all no matter the Bible. I have seen they have now started coming out with pencil highlighters, almost like a colored pencil but not as much color, but I haven't tried them yet. I can't do gel pens or anything wet like felt tipped pens because I am left handed and my hand smudges by the time the ink dries.

Hey Cat thanks for sharing. I wanted to see if you’ve tried the Zebra Mildliners. I’ve used them for about 2 years and love them. They have 3 color packs varying from light to dark colors. I’ve only used the lighter pastels in my bibles but they’ve worked great with no bleed through. Also I use the Pigma Micron pen in the 01. It’s 0.25 mm and is great for thin lines. It is a pricier pen but writes beautifully. Also I like your normal introduction as well. As another commenter mentioned it sounds natural!
Hi, I'm loving you channel. I'm new on this but I can tell you that this pink and blue Pena from Pilot Frixion, I have all collection, de lights colors too and mine are not like yours, they are strongers. On my bible I use the brand " wexford" because it is safe... does not show on the side. Also the sharpie that you show on this video. They are the good ones to use on bibles.
I personally have had bad luck with Pilot G2 pens due to smearing and bleed through. I’m using Bic Velocity pens which write really well and they are light, really glide over the paper. Thanks for your video! I enjoyed watching it.📝🖋📖
Can you do a video on doing a whole page in colors? I saw one of your videos you had a whole page colored in 3 colors (think it was 3). Reminded me of a rainbow for some reason. I want to watch you do a page 😍
I'm slightly confused about the pens. So the testing page you used... were those all using those pens? Meaning you get all those colors but over half of them bleed through the page? I was hoping for an assortment of colors I can write with that don't bleed through at all
Hi! I'm not sure what part of the country you live in but I know that in Texas where it's 100 degree weather the pilot frixons are not a good choice. I haven't used the Highlighter but the pens erase due to heat so if you leave your Bible in the car in heat it will erase what you wrote. The Highlighter might work the same. You can take a hairdryer to a scrap piece of tester paper to see if they are heat resistant. On a side note if you put the paper in the freezer for a little bit what the heat erased will come back just faded hope this helps!
midkata I'm not a huge fan of them because they fade out my text block... And it happens it all the bibles I don't want to see what it's going to look like years from now... I never thought about the heat from a car. I never leave mine in a car. I bring my Bible into the stores with me just as I do my purse. Thank for sharing your helpful tips hun... I agree. Prismacolor pencils are the best for highlighting because they’re softer than many other colored pencils. The color range is quite large, too. Plus, once you settle on your color code, you can buy the pencils individually or by the dozen if you choose. I go through crimson red the quickest because I underline with it, so I buy it by the dozen.
I just found the BIC white pen with the swirls on them today at Dollar General that's funny I'm seeing them here... I took notes for something on regards notebook paper about 2 hours ago... And there is only some bleed thru with a dot when stopping or doodling... But the words didn't bleed through just a light shadow. I didn't think they would work on thinner Bible paper if it did this on notebook paper which is obviously thicker... Idk.
I ALWAYS Say all bible paper is different so keep in mind if you find that a pen works well on one bible please don't think you can use it on all bibles... Create a tester page as I show you here and test out what works best for you. I've found the Pilot G-Tect to work the best in EVERY Bible because they are not a felt-tip (marker like)
Hi Cat; I like your intro. Nice change. I had a question about your Thompson chain Bible. I thought in one of your videos that you had colored in the “river” chart in the front of the Bible but I looked through a lot of your videos & couldn’t find it. I was just wondering if you did that or it might have been a different Bible. It was so pretty. You were not making a point of it; I just happened to notice while you were turning the pages. You are so creative. Thank you for your ministry.
I did it's in my other TCR. I own a few I don't like to flip back & forth between the bible & the study notes in the back of the bible. One I mark in the other I keep clean
The Frixions do make the ink of the verse fade or go dull. I like the pastel colours but I don't like what they do to the black ink of the print. Do those Sharpie bleed-through?
I don't like the Frixions pens or highlighters they sit on top of the text. The Sharpie work amazing to make sure to test them out on the last page of the Bible just to make sure
I also use the Frixion highlighters and you're right, they fade the color of the text 😅 But I don't have much of a choice here in my country, most of our highlighters bleed through the Bible 😭 Did the Sharpie one bleed through your thinnest Bible page?

I don't suggest using pens to color in your Bible Pages are too thin and I have not found any pens that you can use to color that wont bleed through... but use prismacolor colored pencils or Crayola Colorpencils

Regarding your intro-opening voice. Seems like your opening voice is kind of too high? Then it becomes a comfortable-normal after the opening. Love the comfy-normal you. Not the higher-kiddie voice? Lol. Love ur videos kiddo. Just giving my 2 cents. 🥰 But what do I know.
