What Pilate Knew - Matthew 27 

I love Pastor David Guzik. Sitting at Denver International Airport on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023, at boarding gate, flying out to Malaysia, watching Pastor preaching Matthew 27. That is the only thing I want to do to while waiting.

Wow indeed. I had fallen asleep while watching some other video on Pilate and his interactions with Jesus Christ. And I woke up to this sermon by a pastor I had never come across before. Great sermon! Powerful message, but I didn't hear him clearly explain the gospel of salvation through faith in the blood atonement of Jesus. He clearly told who He was, and what He was (and is), but no nothing else. Nothing of what you have to believe to be saved. It was otherwise a good and powerful sermon, but I can't understand why he passed up the opportunity to explain the means of salvation. 🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

My husband and I just watched a movie on RU-vid today, the book of John. It was an excellent movie. In it I was very impressed in how they showed just what you are talking about with Pilate. Made it clear Pilate found no wrong in Jesus. This movie portrayed the Jewish leaders so well also. The people insisted on killing Jesus.

“Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children.” Luke 23:28✝️ What Pilate’s wife suffered was for her and her husband to repent The revelation was not for them to let him go The prophecy was already given “ he was brought as a lamb to the slaughter and before his shearers he stood dumb”

Washing your hands in denial out of practical order is the epitome of lukewarmth

"And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him..... (Well technically speaking not until the Millennium when all Jews will uniformly recognize that I am their King, only then will I actually be their King. Until then I am only the high priest of the church during the dispensation of the Church age, which the prophets did not foresee. Oh and just to further clarify, I will commence my Kingship over the Jews only during the Kingdom age which begins when I take up my physical throne in the city of Jerusalem.)

Pilate missed it then He thought it was about freeing Jesus It was about his freedom from sin He was given the revelation as he came face to face with his maker He knew who Jesus was He was given the revelation and the opportunity to bow and repent It is not recorded in Holy Scriptures What happened to Pilate Like so many Lost opportunity if he did not make it

Are “you” the king of the Jews Wow never heard that before
