Theres so many corps u could make its endless A silver lantern corps based on honesty Brown lanterns: attachment(sentimental feelings and not letting go) Grey(indifference) Camouflage (meekness i.e. always looking for approval/trying to blend in) Turquoise (confidence basically just a corps full of gladiator from marvel) And much much more

I don’t know why but I remember a gold lantern comic about the joy theme and him going insane and being the bad guy, he was a white human and the guardians looked like they were made of gold. I picked it up at a comic shop and really enjoyed the read. Must have shifted realities again

4:44 If you happen to follow Elden Ring Lore, your statment reminds me of a video by Hawkshaw about Color Theory in Elden Ring. While a lot of it obviously doesn't match with DC, I highly recommend giving the vid a watch, even if you just watch the segment on Gold at the end, but the whole vid would give it better context of course. Gold seems to play a similar narrative role within these stories and may give some insight on what may come next for the Gold Corps.

This reminds me of one of the stories in Grant Morrison's JLA where the villain known as The Key finds out that superheroes always win because reality in the DC Universe always bends towards "good" and "Justice". Maybe the Gold Lantern is tapping into that same energy

They could be different from the white lanterns , have some of the hability of the white lantern corp, but have less haxes , like they migth have limited amount of reality warping powers. But ,yeah , this rings is still hecking powerfull in atacking prowess. And there is a great mistery of them: they are not a corp. They are a lantern order . They are called the lantern order of the Gold. And also: what is next , Silver , Bronze lanter corps? Dark blue metallic lantern corps? Brown lantern corps , salmon lantern corps , peach lantern corps, dark lime emerald mettalic lanterns? What are they going to create now?

This in my opinion is weirdest Lantern core because logically if its purely based on positive emotions in general, happyiness , justice, hope , doesn't matter to me what powers it. It's just that if thats true then wouldn't that mean its literally half of the emotional spectrum? JUST the good ones? And aren't the bad one's usually inheritly just way stronger than most positive emotions ever get the chance to be obviously Love and Hope are some of the strongest emotions people can have and some cases Will power too but this Lantern core to me just feels like a lesser version of the White lantern ring which takes all the good and the bad emotions.

No it’s not powered by positivity. Justice energies include all the emotional spectrum positive or negative emotions.

I feel like this whole comic was a missed opportunity. how do you make a comic of JL vs Legion that boring and call it the Gold Lantern Saga. the best parts were about Kala Lour but the majority of the comic was the teams just waiting around. Gold Lantern deserves better.

? I said there’s no 100% correct answer, but here’s what I speculate based on information in the actual comics vs someone’s entire headcanon that has no references to the comics I blatently say it’s a theory in the video vs misinforming people like the original posters lol
