Absolutely agree 100%. I started on my major skin care journey four years ago and immediately was able to identify Japanese beauty products as superior indeed. The philosophy agrees with my spirit.
Yes I have tried all the latest viral Korean skincare products for year 2023 .However , I always want to go back to Japanese skincare products as I find my skin loves Japanese ones better .
I live in Japan and tbh Korean skincare is actually becoming more popular and common here. Even Japanese brands have been marketing their products with Korean packaging and ingredients lol.
@@Designalily Korean products have better quality then Japanese skincare and even Japanese use Korean skincare brand I am not saying Japanese aren’t good but it’s the opposite the Korean skincare is higher quality then Japanese
@user-us6ji2sl3c korean products and heck now western products have jumped on to Japanese products that have included ingredients that focus on moisture(hyaluronic acid), fermentation ( pitera by sk-ii) double cleansing ( oil cleansers like dhc or shu uemura) softening and absorption (edumune by shiseido) and antioxidants (matcha/ tsubaki or camellia)
@@user-us6ji2sl3cIt's the other way around. Japanese started the cleansing oil and galactomyces in early 20th century. The Korean skincare is influenced by the Japanese skincare and they were hyped in 2000s. I still think Korean skincare is overrated.
My 2 favourite countrys for skincare products are japan and south africa, there products use stuff that locals have used for a long time. I love japanese products containing sakura, green tea, tsubaka, rice, plums and cherries etc. South african products use rooibos, marula, baobab, Kalahari melon, aloe ferox etc. Its alot cheaper to buy from country of origin cos when you buy from brands they mark up the price alot. Example: I use alot of marula oil on my low porosity hair, face and cuticles, I can get 1lt of marula oil from south africa for the same price has a 30ml bottle of drunk elephant. You save money and get better quality products if you buy directly from country of origin. Also Japan has best haircare for type 1 hair, but if you have type 2,3 or 4 hair south african products are amazing, south african shampoos are so amazing they also won alot of overseas award like dutch awards in 2021 and 2023 cos its so good at hydrating without weigh plus sulfate and parabens free
As a South African, I'm pleasantly surprised to see this. You are the first person I've come across that has said they love South African skin care products ❤️ I favour Korean and Japanese brands myself though lol. Much love 🇿🇦
100000% agree. I used korean beauty products for years, and i switch to japanese beauty products and my skin become a lot lot lottttttt healthier glowing supple.
Cleansing oil, Face Wash, Toner, Vit C serum - 🇯🇵 Retinol & Cream - 🇰🇷 - What I'm currently using right now. Japanese people rarely use retinols & they're rare in Japanese beauty stores so that's why I'm using Korean. As someone who tried both, I prefer the Japanese skincare. It's practical and the routine is kinda shorter compared to Korean skincare routine. Also Japanese skincare tend to have less ingredients. The lesser the better. Japanese skincare companies have been doing research for a long time so which is why I trust them more.
korean products and heck now western products have jumped on to Japanese products that have included ingredients that focus on moisture(hyaluronic acid), fermentation ( pitera by sk-ii) double cleansing ( oil cleansers like dhc or shu uemura) softening and absorption (Edumune by shiseido that came out in the 1800's & is still on the market) and antioxidants (matcha/ tsubaki or camellia). Flooding the market with flashy marketing or making it cheaper doesn't eqate to better
I beg to disagree on K beauty. You tried the viral 2023 trending products, but tell us when you tried History of Whoo and Sulwhasoo for at least 6 months. J beauty I liked Shiseido Ultimune serum. Now I use Sulwhasoo first serum. Both are “pre-serums”.
im looking for the continuation of this video. you got cut off right when you were getting into bb and foundations, but the next video has you talking about hair care gadgets 😢
