Those two have always been on the same side. They have been since the end of 40s and 1950s. Russia supported North Korea during the Korean war and Russian military were instrumental in establishing the North Korean Peoples Army, but this isn't about helping North Korea, it's more about if you are the enemy of my enemy then you are my friend, and always has been. This is as always US v Russia and Russia v US. Been like that since end of WW2.
You are confusing Soviet Union with Russia, Soviet Union did support yes. Though, Russia was also one of the countries that sanctioned North Korea. The relation between Russia and North Korea was obviously better than US with North Korea, but it surely wasn't all that "we're on the same side" either.@@jujuoliver6959

S. Korea is one of the most prosperous nations in the world because of their close relations with America. N. Korea is one of the poorest & oppressive nations in the world because of their relationship with China & Russia. The choice is clear, one path leads to prosperity and the other to poverty.
You cant unite a country that has been so sheltered and brainwashed that they have no idea about the world outside of their poor lives, They can't even comprehend the world. Did you know that if one were to escape North Korea, there is a school in South Korea that teaches them about the world today? Simple things are taught like traffic and how to maneuver crossing a street. There is nothing to unite.

You need to go back 25 years when Russia and NATO agreed not to expand any closer and then denied it. Also Ukraine never declared any official borders with Russia and therefore were an independent country inside Russia territory. Russia is not the bullie here Period 🤲
