Everyone thought lzzy was hurt when he boxed in the corner but that is the fighting tactics. Izzy fought Alex many times not to know his weaknesses. Alex game plan has always been the same. Go back and watch each of his fights. The guy is big and that in itself is intimidating and lzzy knows that going in the second fight. Alex was making the fight boring and lzzy didn't want to wait to execute his plan. The outcome was incredibly fierce and on target. Go lzzy.
I do think Izzy was hurting in certain places but he has the experience to not wimp out in those tense moments. To find those shots in such a heated exchange was master class. That was S Tier fasho!
The fact that Izzy got buckled exactly like the last fight and still took control rather than panicking shows the level of heart and mental willpower that few ever possess Haters will say that he "got lucky", imo Alex got lucky the previous fight when he got rocked by the same right hand and got saved by the bell
His calf taped up post fight.. That's all Alex needs to focus on for the next fight. Work Izzys legs for 4 rounds and see how he moves around in the 5th. Pretty simple and straightforward attack. He was doing it and then got excited in the 2nd fight and made a big mistake.
He was getting his leg chopped up as well, eating body kicks and right hands. At that rate by the time the 5th came Alex gassed would be throwing with one eye and one leg as well.
