Anyone who is surprised that "reality" shows aren't reality needs to face reality. I know people who have been in reality shows and people in the scenes are instructed to "Show some anger" or "Do it again but with more emotion." Ive enjoyed her writing and Im happy that has given her a successful and rewarding life....Which is apparently more than some of the haters below.

Highly scripted, right. Everyone who has anything to do with this or any other show signs an NDA. Sounds to me like she's gotten the boot or doesn't like her deal and is trying to get fired from the show. Very disappointing, as it demonstrates a lack of character.

Why are the questions about Linda and her decisions? For one it was hell to compete against men in that occupation as a sword boat captain..but she did it..she also felt the deadliest catch series WAS scripted and she wasn't able to be real.. possible? If someone wanted me or any of us ..to screen our life and scripted it ..and we weren't able to be REAL.. wouldn't you finally say NO..? At least she did that and said no more..don't mean she had anything to hide or prove..she didn't seek them out ..they sought her out..

Love to watch deadliest catch and admire Linda Greenlaw for her skills at sea, she said something while I was watching the show on 9/26/2023 that I do not agree with. Linda said that she asked her mom if she has to be a girl and her mom said no, you can be whatever you want to be. Biologically Linda Greenlaw will always be a girl, that will never change but she can do what ever a boy does. The fact is that Linda will always be a girl.

The 7 yr old Linda wasn't asking to change her sex. She was being told that "only boys are allowed to do certain things"...and her mother told her that she could become whatever she wanted to. Are you saying that after 50 years of being a fisherman, "she" is STILL having to prove herself?!
