I don't know how many other popular "Street Ball" RU-vid channels there were before "Ball Is Life East Coast" but The East Coast team was the first that I really got into and watched faithfully.. Back a couple yrs ago when ya'll was just getting started together.. You, Slim, Zach, Tim, and Duke.. 🤘
And I have to add.. For me personally, there's nothing worse than pulling up to a Park to Hoop, and the Goals have Double Rims!! lol.. Fxkn HATE shooting on Double Rims and often times they hurt like sh!t when you dunk on them.. Seems like every park anywhere near me, they all have Double Rims now.. 🤦♂️
being in the background of this was amazing to see from the beginning and hearing this story is such an amazing reminder than anything can happen at any moment to change your life
❤❤Turn to Jesus people, he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, if you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live by his teachings. God bless ❤❤
No lie the East Coast squad really made me love basketball so much and let me grow it into a passion of mine, I appreciate you and rest of the squad for that Milly
I rmb those days when Scotty and Slim were part of the squad. They then left to create Wild Hunt. Scotty then isolated to create TNC which was a bright idea
Mannn the relatability of the ECS will never be matched - that’s really what separated you guys from other teams within the space. I mean we been talking and have had a following for years based off your normality if I’m keeping it real brotha ! Been waiting on you to drop the documentary and I’m excited for the next vids ! Would love to hear from Zach, for he was with you from the jump; Duke, you and him had a dynamic that was unmatched even making a joint YT channel at one point! Clamp and Slim together for they’ve always been that duo on and off the court. And last but not least, Scotty for you two don’t get enough credit for the masterminds that you are ! Hope to see/hear it all 🔥the most viral streetball team always
A milly. You’re literally the goat for making this, also the production and style you’ve taken for this is phenomenal. I am so happy to have been apart of the east coast community while yall were really doing your thing. Thank you!
ECS definitely made me love basketball more and got me back playing putting in work. Appreciate you guys got me through some tough times ✊🏾hope you all run it back someday.
11:38 I love frigas honesty. I love how he kept things fr and now look. Got amilly on the abc crew on tnc friga we all know is killing it on tnc and Scotty the best film guy around.
I have always followed the ECS since day 1 and am so proud of you and everyone! Thanks for all the amazing content and memories and to many more to come even if its on an individual level!
I’m a 59 year old 5’7” white dude who has loved basketball his entire life. Unfortunately I went to a high school full of talent :IE Gary Bossert. I’ve been watching the East Coast Squad since day one and loved all of the talent. Thank you for sharing this with us. On the edge of my seat for the other two thirds. And patiently waiting for you to start playing on The Next Chapter. 😉
It's crazy seeing those first few videos again and how everything randomly came together. I had just started watching Friga and Briz when I found ECS. Love TNC now but before that, I messed with ECS heavy. Watched all those Caffeine TV events too. Man, that streaming platform sucked but the games were fun to watch
Fan from China here, I still remember those days your videos went crazily popular not only on RU-vid but also many Chinese platforms, which also brought Slim and lot of other players a career in China rn. Those days of watching ur videos over and over again is the best! (I still watch some of those every now and then)
Even tho I’m on the west coast, I always found watching the east coast squad more enjoyable. It was actually competitive runs and seemed like yall were real with the gameplay. It’s sad to see almost 4 years later that it’s not the same. However I do think it’s because yt basketball as whole has evolved. I like how TNC is doing these new ways of showing off hoopers and even BIL having their own way of showing off their hoopers. Watching yall brought my love of basketball back especially after my injury and not being able to play basketball in college. Hopefully one day we can see the OG squad run one back
Great video dude. I honestly can't say I blame nick neither, that man knew he had something in terms of chris white and carlos entertainment factor. I also remember getting a bit sad when i stopped seeing zach on the court, he got me the most hype out of anyone. Hope park basketball gets another insurgence fr or more players involved in 1v1 tournaments
Milky I can just feel your energy through the video, you genuinely loved this team. Those were the good times, I used to watch videos with my girl getting hype😢💪🏾
Keep doing the interviews with people lets us know the back story not just speculation. Love you guys milly! Yall were big inspirations to keep working on hooping after high school and now as a young father I’ve steered away from competitive play and found peace in watching tnc and other 1v1 and 2v2 platforms
Also, I have been watching you guys for who knows how long and honestly, its weird, but I felt like I was a part of your life story. I felt along side you every step of the way. Felt like if I ever got to meet you, it would be chill and like a really nice experience. The ECS story is something I can hold on to and remember as it helped me through hard moments when I needed to just get a smile on my face or watch the thing I love. Thank you for being you and if you ever in Arkansas for some reason, would love to meet you!
I just want to say thank you guy's so much you guy's helped me so much thru a lot rough times I miss you guy's being the East Coast Squad thank you for everything
This is a good documentary, like really good. I know this is only the first part but the editing style, storytelling and structuring is really to the point and really easy to digest. Just subbed and can't wait for the next parts!
ECS got me into watching the RU-vid street bball scene from the way back there with you Mr Milly, Duke, Slim, Zach, Tim and sometimes Travis (saw the flashes of Frigga in there with Duke haha). Loved the feel, just going to the park to hoop with some good bros on your team (that could really hoop dog, lol). Pulling out of covid too, this was such a comfort from those times. The interactions with the crowd too, and the crowd getting into it, was key too - everyone appreciating the moves you could try and make... good shizzle!! Thanks to the ECS, Scotty and Ball Is Life . Would agree nostalgic as hell. Love the ol ECS shout out!!
WOW I had no clue that I have been here since Day 1. Love to see how much everyone has grown and found their paths. Also Milly you are an amazing creative mind to give us something that we did not know we wanted
you most definitely connected with us milly , you showed everyone in the city there different routes ! This Marvin brother jay ! The light skinned tatted one , we played all the time and I’m forever proud of you bro ! Forsure a huge inspiration in my life ! Keep hooping fam ! For Us !
Just wanted to comment dude started watching you with only a few k followers and loved your take watching games. I'd often wait till you uploaded your reactions rather than watch it straight away.. I had a bit of time away from watching ball on YT and come back a month or 2 later and you're on 90k! I'm so glad man you deserve it you have some awesome, down to earth interesting commentary. Psyched to watch this!
I live in Washington State on the West Coast, and I was a huge ECS fan. I've watched every park run at least 2-3 times. I wish you guys were still making content.
I still pull up some yall old vids when I’m smoking and shit, one of the West Palm runs is my favorite. Sucks to see yall grow apart but that’s life, I’m glad to have experienced what you guys got going 🤞
This shits a movie man!! I love this and so crazy I remember every park run and remember Travis and Jacob and just crazy how many memories this brings back. But dude I love how you put this all together!! 😊
Man I’ve been waiting for one of y’all to tell the story. I see some of y’all went down different roads. Ngl I saw the signs that maybe things were going left when Slim dipped. This squad was super fun to watch though. I feel like a reunion tour would go crazy with views
The east coast squad is what got me to start watching RU-vid basketball and my son loves it as well. Was there ever a thought from Scotty of taking the ECS off of BIL and start something with Friga almost the way that slim branches off?
We miss you guys together Milly I even remember when yahhh came to Lancaster for hoodie qel and the state of Pa seeing you guys made my night that night for sure cause I been watching yahhh since yahhh started the Ball is life East Coast squad
Zach and Slim were always the most fun to watch (even though I wasn't crazy about Slims too cool attitude). That last time Zach played and they completely froze him out was so lame. Then the got dime a dozen clowns like Deebones and Malcolm to just dribble 500 times in place before throwing some junk up every time they had the ball.
I believe that adding Chris White and doing these mens league games really killed your vibe, and some of these games actually showed you up. The energy was not the same as with the care free park runs anymore. Glad you still found your spot within this creator business though, working with TNC etc. Always liked your way of playing ever since you did these 1s with Friga in the Mount Union gym.
Great video Milly. Found you from your 1v1 vs Friga and followed you from there. I'm excited to see whats to come from you with this new oppurtunity in the youtube space.
Te lo pongo en castellano y desde España para que veas hasta donde han llegado tus vídeos. Os descubrí hace algo más de un año y sois sin duda los streetballers más entretenidos de youtube. Me he visto todos vuestros vídeos. Una locura. Nivelón!
