oh my, this really does look like the house from the game!

This is the most extensive, impressive, and accurate sims build I have ever seen. All the other attempts I have seen of the Edith Finch house are pathetic in comparison. Incredible build, 100/10

If this house was an actual playable lot by the Sims standards that would be amazing, but it’s already such an extraordinarily detailed and beautiful build!

I always thought that it wasn’t really a curse, but likened it to when a family has a lot of tragedies, onlookers claim it as the family’s “curse”. Kind of like the Kennedy family. Lots of tragedy in one family, or what one would claim as a lot of tragedy since we’re paying so much attention to that particular family, is often equated to a curse by outsiders. It’s not an actual curse, but called that due to the tragedies. Very interesting story and I enjoy your content!

Could you please make a floor plan of the building so we can see how all the rooms fit together ? I am loving the build soo muchhh

The amount of detail and creativity is stunning and the story telling was a blast to listen to. I just played this game and I'm OBSESSED with the secrets and layout of the house! You put so much effort in, thank you for sharing this with us! Just super quickly at 39:35, I think Gregory died in the pink bathroom, because it had the sliding part of the bathtub and the peephole/name card on the bathroom door had his name and birth/death date on it. The details in the game are NUTS, I only noticed that the 3rd time I played the game 😬 I absolutely love it

Such a good recreation. Honestly Lewis and Gregory were my favorite stories and are always cry worthy. Fun fact- during the Gregory story, you’re actually in the (evil) pink bathroom which is also noted when you first enter the bathroom when Edith states how the bathroom was a reminder of Kay. So my guess is Sam was deployed at that time which is why he was calling.

This. Is. So. Freaking. COOL! Best recreation of the WROEF house in Sims! Ever since watching a playthrough of the game and later playing it myself 'cause it just stuck with me.... I've thought about this house so often and I just absolutely LOVE it! I am obsessed with this house and you did SUCH a great job! I cannot even praise it enough!

I was looking for a speedbuild of the house from Practical Magic and I saw this in the recommended and I had to click it. When I played this game I wanted to build it so bad in bloxburg (a game on roblox) or sims. THIS IS INCREDIBLE. The game is so beautiful and their house is one of the most interesting and pretty things ever.

O goodness when I was playing Gregory’s story towards the end of it I’m like no no no I don’t wanna do it 😢

It baffled me in the game that the third floor was sealed off. There was never a reason given for it, and as your design shows all that would have been up there is the exterior doors to Sam's and his kids' rooms, plus maybe a bathroom. Including that would have let players feel like they'd actually explored the entire house instead of about 97 percent of it. (Also the full library)

You did a very good job. I love the game the house has a pieceful feeling but also a sad one.

Oh I'd love to see a redo of this build with all our new stuff like platforms and bunkbeds and what have you. Still beautiful like this though. So much effort!

Sorry for late comment I just got addicted with the gameplay hehe so gregory was actually in edies bathroom or Kays I think it was kays bathroom since it had the sliding door u see in that scene so they were in edies or should I say kays bathroom.

I just read new article @ PC Gamer. I must say this is spectacular work! You really adore this game, don't you? :-) Are you going to recreate buildings from different games or other media like movies? Do you play adventure games? I mean true point'n'click adventures like Monkey Island series, not "interactive tour" games (this is my personal term for stuff, where you're almost always go in one direction only, look at environment and from time to time you interact with REALLY obvious object ahead of you (there are games where you don't interact at all like Dear Esther). There are cool houses and other stuff in p'n'c games, but most of them are not as detailed as house from WRoEF (maybe because Edith's house is basically a silent hero). But what is imagination for? Personally I would love to see Governor Marley's house on Mêlée Island and mansion from Day of the Tentacle. I also like haunted mansion from Alone in the Dark (1992) (this is survival horror game though) or from Thief: The Dark Project. With your decorating and planning skills those will look really awesome, no doubts about that. :-)
