Here's a crazy story that popped up in my recommends. I know sometimes you do stories on the dating world and the divide between men and women. Well, in Tempe Arizona, a woman died at her job, sitting at her desk, and it took four days for her coworkers to notice the smell. Sadly, no one from her personal life missed her or reported her missing. Not even her coworkers noticed her absence until they noticed the smell of her body. Her name was Gabriela Baquero, and she was age 60. In a world before feminism, this woman would've died surrounded by a loving family: a husband, grown children, and a slew of grandchildren. Instead, she died alone, at a thankless job, with not many connections to the world. Morgan Stanley warned us of this dilemma. By 2030, 45% of women will be unmarried, and a large percentage will be childless. .
Yea, I get it. I'll stop wasting money on things that don't matter. Instead, I decided to donate money to the former president's campaign so he can pay his legal bills!!!!
Chris! Appreciate you having me on. Love sharing the journey of the ups/downs of building businesses. Pumped to get the buyback principle out to the world👊
Dan, some of your business philosophies remind me of Matt Mochary's, The Great CEO Within. I've been following your content since your early social media push. It's super cool to see you popping up on some of my favorite podcasts.
Struggling to keep up with all the episodes I want to invest time in 😂 but I'm 22 minutes in and this is exactly what I need to hear at this stage in my one-man-band business. Can see this will be one I go back over repeatedly. Also, Hormozi. Always Hormozi when I need a podcast-shaped spike of motivation
This video is probably the best one yet regarding business. The tactical points of how to elevate, The interview questions, and the mindset you both share of so nice to learn from. Thank you for this video!!!
This was great. Dan's, a chill speaker and down to earth fella. Chris, you do a great job keeping the conversation moving forward. Thank you for putting this into the world.
This video should be shown to people who spend it on stuff they don't need and do 10 holidays a year regardless of how much it costs, yet still are miserable and complain "everything is too expensive", "cost of living has gone up".
This podcast made me feel shit about myself. Isnt your mans life just fucking marvellous. weekly meetings with the wife. family values written down. offsite weekends with the wife per quarter. buying a 22 year old a Porsche gt4. These tech folks live on a different fucking planet.
Speaking as a woman who values growth above all else, and who knows countless women who feel the same way, finding men who values the levels and depth of growth that we value IS the ultimate search for the Unicorn… to be clear there are tons of high value women in the world who have been pulling teeth their entire lives hoping to connect with men who truly want to live out their fullest potential and experience the highest levels of growth… let’s definitely create a way for the mutual unicorns of the world to unite…
My problem is that I dont know WHAT to do. 😂 Im an adult already, been working in different things, I like many things, now I dont know what to focus on. Im afraid I get bored or Im tired already of all the studying, preparation to be someone, etc.
This episode talks so much about business and financial freedom. How many of you would be happy if you have the detailed notes of the podcast so that after listening this podcast you can have and read the important stuff in 10 mins anytime you want. Let me know your response.
It trades with others👍 I work a full time and a part time job at the same time to have money to buy time from others so I can continue to focus on things I enjoy, on the smallest scale it’s like going to a restaurant to eat (simplified) you buy food so you can sit down, have a nice conversation, and eat food that’s been prepared for you and served to you. Even if you’re not directly hiring labor you’re always trading it for a product that someone else spent their time on instead of your own
WTF… I have been watching so many motivational videos to keep going that I thought o was subscribed this whole time becuase I always get Chris’s videos recommended I just thought I was subscribed Been watching and leveling up for years just barely subscribed today 🤣 so crazy
I'm 39 years old, recently laid off, and in a new phase of my life. What are my best options for steady income given that I have 425K saved for retirement, 10K in an HSA, and a property that might bring in an additional 200K?
Is it time for a career shift or should I consolidate my investments into a single account? If I go for the latter, how do I do it right, and what could be the drawbacks? Plus, with a $200K property sale on the horizon, should I combine my investments or diversify them across different markets?
These are crucial questions for a financial planner. I met mine at a NYSE summit, and with her help, my wife and I reallocated our $1.7M portfolio between a traditional IRA and a brokerage account. She’s been making investments with our approval and has helped us recover twice our losses. We’re holding steady and carefully navigating more markets
Literally true but functionally false: The idea that relationships are transactional. Evolutionarily, true. Biologically, true. But if you treat people like that, you’re fucked. No one will want to be around you. So instead you have to give and give and simply hope that people will give back. Which eventually, some will. And those are the people you keep around.
So funny hearing that it's hard to find a woman who's into personal growth since I'm trying to get comfortable with the idea of dying alone because I can't even imagine where I can find a guy who is into personal growth.
The quality you have Dan - paradigm that guides you - which? Makes you the leader you are and that allows you to have the privilege - as well as the gift from God that Sam became, is? Is that you truly care about your people and it makes you happy, truly delighted to see them take the bull - of their lives and jobs - by the horns albeit with a little help from their friend, Dan but? You know it and they know that all along your goal, when all is said and done was from day one? That you wanted to help them see, show them how to do "it their way" and achieve? A level of personal mastery, command of themselves that made them stronger; a better man or woman - able to carry on on their own even if you aren't around anymore - able to be there, be a gentle, guiding influence with them by their sides. Which means? If they are like Sam? I would be willing to bet? Means that someday, if they are on their own much I am sure to their dismay you aren't present and accounted for anymore? That, they will be - in kind just as you kindly did with them; they will keep up your traditions - by passing along the lessons they accrued, acquired by having the good fortune of having had you as their mentor, "boss", leader and friend.
On the topic of 'time', this video is 2 and a half hours long! I swear these type of podcasts are getting longer. I saw the Huberman Diary of a CEO one is over 4 hours! 😮 I think 60 to 90 minutes is the sweet spot.
So break this up into 60-90 minute chunks 😉, jk! But, I get what you’re saying. I listen to podcasts like this at work, I put on my headphones and clean carpet all day…
@@leemp337 how do you know that it's all good info? 🤷🏼♂️ The video has only been available for 55 minutes and it's over 2 hours long, so you haven't watched it all yet to accurately make that assessment. Wanting something in the most efficient way doesn't mean that I'm trying to skimp on the investment. I'm challenging if it's necessary, that's all.
Safeguards - but it’s hard to enforce standards if the speed of turnover leaves little time to reflect on ____.. and by that time.. it might have been interpreted from a different remote point of view of an ambitious builder. Inherently that is normal; however, the board changes under different conditions and regions of culture.
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Dorian j Townsend.
I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Dorian j Townsend. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.
Dorian was my hope during the bear summer "' last year. I made so many mistakes but also learnt so much from it , and of course, from Dorian. She is my number one when it comes to crypto and TA.
This guy not wanting to put gas in his own car sounds absurd at first but the elimination of the tedious reminds me of PRO-ARK PLAYERS, every one needs to know all the jobs but each person only focuses on any given 5 at a time and contrary to beliefs so e of them arent that good but those guys who arent a great twitchfire fps god are the guys who take out the trash and feed the pigs and gather the crops and they are unironically absolutely needed. Its funny this guys keep talking about sop and api computer code, but hes essentially turing his life into a video game and hes not the player character but he manages the player characters.
I found it difficult to find info on how to appropriately develop the actual business model that conforms to regulations that may not have been established. It’s difficult to predict the reaction to the initial action.. and if it the objective isn’t reached, then the younger staff don’t stand a chance of competing against multinational corporations that have resources and talent that newer companies do not have.. the imbalance becomes evident only to the company but not necessarily to the rating agencies. This impacts the customers in invisible dynamic ways initially unforeseen. It’s entanglement., And if we don’t see it initially, can we realistically expect emerging markets to have standards and policies in place when the services and products reach those regions. But shareholders have a different schedule- and oh yeah- you have to pick up your daughter from school, or you may have a water main break that takes your time .. it’s overwhelming and there is a staff that depends on the business’ survival. So to those out there- we are not trying to shame- we are acknowledging an issue and saying this needs to be addressed.. Please engage in these discussions- so the ship doesn’t sink!
Twice in less than 10 minutes he's quoting processes he got directly from Elon Musk and let them roll off as if they are his own I've always had a big problem with people who don't give credit where credit is due. Especially if these principles "you stole" have brought you great success. Big turn off
Sooooo True 👍. How has Mr McDonald achieved so much Success all Over the World & Quality Control every Single chip Himself 🤔 McDonald’s Never Sleeps as A Business However the 1000’S of People who Work As a Team make 24HR DAY WORK
I would say the opposite, it is the bottom that could really benefit from time management. My life is so much better once I became good at time management, and hiring out task like housekeeping. Paying somebody $15/hour so I can make $41/hour is awesome, especially since somebody who is good at housekeeping can do it in 1/4 of the time it takes me.
Stick through it... I felt the same at about 20 mins in but as it goes on it starts hitting on more poor folks ideas lol... virtual assistant for $5 an hour or drop off laundry service or meal prep services etc
@@daikhairai7194 you're right... blame the country... it's the countries fault you failed... not yours... God bless you friend and I truly wish you peace and prosperity
This guy sucks and this podcast is really starting to fade in value and legitimacy. Many unsubstantiated claims and opinions, often contradicting with those of other guests (and not only on opinion matters). Such a bummer.
