The U.S.-China relationship continues to evolve, but what course will this evolution take?
Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) President Michael Froman introduces CFR’s China Strategy Initiative, a program that seeks to answer the questions that will help drive the United States’ China policy.
Led by CFR Senior Fellow Rush Doshi, the China Strategy Initiative will grapple with U.S.-Chinese relations through fresh analysis, granular policy recommendations, and convenings with experts from around the world.
To learn more, watch U.S. officials and prominent American strategists explore U.S. policy toward China and the Indo-Pacific, debate debate approaches to U.S.-China strategy, and consider the implications of artificial intelligence on national security: www.cfr.org/ev....

"The US hoped China to open up, liberalize and to adhere to the established international norms" = the US hoped China will become a country submissive to the US as any other country which made the transition 😂. Why can't the Americans see how a 4000 year old continuous civilization can become vassal to a 250-year old country? 😂
