The number of prostitution arrests across the Las Vegas valley has skyrocketed in recent weeks according to the latest data from Las Vegas Metro police.
Fuck that. They can go to Pahrump. The industry is rife with violence, human trafficking, underage prostitutes being recruited into the lifestyle. And these things don't just magically disappear when you stamp "legal" on it.
When I lived in Sinless City, the vice squad mistakenly took a Nurse, all decked out in a mini skirt for a prostitute, they detained her for 2 hours. She sued Metro, and flew back to Sinless City 3X for court trials and she won her case and an $80,000 settlement.

Actually Salt Lake (back in the day) had a lot of influence over Las Vegas, because both towns were controlled by Mormons. Pretty sure the rise now, is due to the new waves of people moving here though. I'm seeing more rift raft compared to before in Vegas.

Think what you want, I use to work in the adult entertainment industry here in vegas, I've seen a lot shady transactions happen which resulted in an injury or arrest of the girl .. arrest because she was protecting herself, the club is not gonna say a damn thing nor is the girl because there is nothing to protect them... so I think the real creeps are the guests I've seen get away with these acts... but hell , what do I know 🤔
It's been tried for millennia. It never fixes a damn thing. The temple priests and priestesses were just as abusive to the "sacred prostitutes" that were very common in the Ancient World. A lot of money was made from these services, and if the sex workers didn't put out, they definitely paid for it through physical abuse and even their lives. It was actually required in some civilizations for women to perform "service" in one of these temples for a certain number of years. Even today, in places like Amsterdam, there are many stories of sex workers being treated miserably by their "employers", and their patrons too.
There is a lack of LV city partnerships with job/temp (day job) agencies - if women know the ease of other legitimate options, most would choose the straight route.

Because this state is a two faced double tier state ~ DUI’s have been a problem for decades. Prostitution is allowed by having legal brothels as if they don’t send girls over from the brothels over to the motels on the strip this hole state is corrupt and these cops are doing hookers on the down low. Prostitution is a choice, its a quick and easy way to get fast cash, gotta deal with the consequences for your choices and actions thats what accountability is and a sign of being mature.
