100 % Eugene Sandow the father of bodybuilding built his size and strength this way, he used his Sandow dumbbell witch is like a hand squeeze dumbbell to force his contraction of his muscle the dumbel itself was only 5lbs, great video !!

Hello sir I really like your videos. Thank you for the inspiration. Been lifting weights for years I’m 61 now And the weights to a number on my joints I feel so much better with suspension training I feel the tension as well that I was supposed to feel with free weights And I’m seeing results! I could never get the feel of rubber bands Never liked it I really like the total gym too But I have no room for that But I’m very happy with suspension training

Thanks for the upload and explanation. I currently own a set of gymnastic rings, and I'm predominately looking into purchasing the TRX for outdoor and hotel workouts. I'm in between the TRX Fit and TRX Strong. I won't be doing any leg exercises. What are your thoughts?

Pleasure, hope it was useful. With regards to different straps. I have used a £40 one off amazon for years of travelling and also the TRXGO (£99) for many years. Both have stood the test of time and travel. It’s the effective muscle-centric technique combined with mindful muscle connection when using them that’s the key, which is what I teach in my Programs - trxtraveller.com/trx-programs/ But so long as it’s adequate you’re good to go. TRX looks more comfortable for working biceps in front of the body (short head) due to more support with gravity than resistance bands which tend to pull the body which can be hard to compensate and turns into more of a back workout than an arm workout, and chin ups are too taxing on the lats and isn't the best movement for the biceps so TRX looks great for that, where bands shine are for behind the back curls, the shoulders, triceps & traps, TRX looks good for conditioning and looks badass way to train certain groups more effectively than bands or pull-up bar and visa versa, combining all 3 is the best one can do if they're not lifting weights

I'd disagree, but I appreciate where you're coming from. In my opinion to simply it - the muscle doesn't know what you're holding. All it knows is the tension you can place upon it through a range of motion. With the right technique and mindful muscle connection, you can build muscle with anything. A TRX is all I've used for 7 years now to build muscle.

Ha yes! It’s so good right. Although after 3 years of using it I’m still mediocre at best. Probably says more about my brain than Pimsleur. Which language have you used?

I wish you had a TRX and resistance band program. I carry both in my backpack, so if we have downtime I can workout. I work 12 hr shifts as an EMT.
