The tip about smashing the garlic is awesome! I remember learning that from one of the chefs on Food Network, it works great!!! I do love the way you chop an onion & will give it a go. thx Adam!!!
Love it Adam! One of my favourite dishes to cook at home. Only difference is, i like to leave the garlic and ginger in there, albeit I chop them very finely. 🤤
Thank you for these. I’ve been enjoying them! I’d love to know when these videos were made. Did you make them at the height of the pandemic and just posting now or are you making and posting them contemporaneously? Just curious. But keep them coming! If I can’t watch you play live then I’ll watch you cook any day.
I didn’t know the salt keep the nutrients. That’s awesome to know. I would alway said the pasta water before I put my pasta in but never vegetables. That’s what I need , a wok . Damn now I’m hungry.
Cool! Thanks Adam. On the onions, there is a better way. Hard to describe in text, but I will try. We can skip the horizontal cuts, we can make downward cuts only. Now if we made downward cuts which were completely vertical this would cause different size cross sections as the onion has radial separations. Like this: Onion: ((())), vertical cuts: |||||, so at the end the pieces are bigger than in the center. This is why we need to cut horizontally first: ====. But we don't need to do that if we cut downward cuts which are targeted at a center point below the cutting surface. Like this \\\/// but the angle changes towards a mid point just below the cutting surface at the ratio of the golden ratio.. Crazy, but something I thought you might enjoy . Let me know if this is interesting and you would like a video.
Been a fan of you and your band for what 30+ years (Anna Begins my fav song) - never delved into the social media aspect / media aspect - but watched you on JRE and I found it refreshing - it’s cool to see a Rock Star geek over food!
"VASE" - lyrics by me although slightly morose, your eyes illuminate a lovely view, a thousand open windows; a thousand worth me jumping thru. tasted the story lines... From your stained-glass lips today; As sweet as darkest honey, I long to kiss it all away... CHORUS: whoa, oh, woman, i am so cracked, yes, but, you, you, you are already, already broken, my heart is no vase fit to keep a rose in. No, my will is to piece u together... 'til u can hold me, hold me together. verse 2: in the silence stand with me beneath a bruised peach, gray sky; allowing pulses to converse, as... we become each other's 'why.' your dark clouds spin a tale, i walk the rains to read it all, believe me when i do confess, "i love your every single flaw." CHORUS: whoa, oh, woman, i am so cracked, yes, but, you, you, you are already, already bro-ken, my heart is no vase fit to keep a rose in No, my will is to piece u together... 'til u can hold me, hold me together. *GUITAR SOLO* CHORUS: whoa, oh, woman, i am so cracked, yes, but, you, you, you are already, already bro-ken, my heart is no vase fit to keep a rose in. No, my will is to piece u together... 'til u can hold me, hold me together. tasted the story lines... From your stained-glass lips today; As sweet as darkest honey, I long to kiss it all away...
