What's Different Between The Sport & Sport-L? 2023 Honda Accord | Trim Comparison 

Hard to argue those great points! Our first couple EX-L's have all sold very fast - they're an excellent value. Plus if you're getting a hybrid, might as well go for one with the most MPG benefits! I believe the Sport-L is for those who want the sporty look. Enjoy your new Accord :D

I'm torn between exL and sport L. I feel like I should just get the touring trim. But they don't offer black with black interior. Looks like the black on black is the most popular. I put a deposit for a hybrid sport L. Black on black. Dealers are selling them as soon as they get delivered. Next delivery is in 2 weeks. They cant produce them fast enough.

@@reggienovenario2864 you’re not giving up too much going with a Sport-L. Ventilated seats, HUD, and wireless charger mainly.

@@shojus We wish the Sport came with heated seats but the last generation didn’t unless it was a 2.0 Sport. Very curious

As long as people keep buying, honda will keep on cutting basic options that people want You can get sirius radio and heated steering on super cheap cars, yet Honda laughs at you for spending 40k without those

Great choice either way! You get even better fuel economy with the EX-L Hybrid over the Sport, Sport-L, or Touring which is nice!

Honda is having some issues with parts supply for Blind Spot Monitoring in the 2023 Accord and CR-V. Due to supply issues, some of those models aren't equipped with Blind Spot. It will be noted as w/o BSI on the window sticker. We hope they can fix this soon.

Totally get it, but on the other hand many Honda drivers just want a nice, fuel efficient vehicle to drive around in. Not necessarily looking for something super sporty. We do wish for more engine choices, but think these new Hybrids will sell fine :D

they realized majority of Honda accord drivers just want a comfortable and mature looking car. they dont want to impress their fellow honda accord drivers. if they want to do that, they can get an acura

Yep! A few other changes, but mainly leather.

Leather and bigger wheels

Those two features are only available on the EX-L and Touring trim. Not on the Sport/Sport-L unfortunately!

Talk to the dealers. The one I test drove didn’t have the BSI sensors but they were able to order one with it for me ❤

@@sydneyamberkelly Kelly I would really not buy that car that car is hideous looking! It looks like a Chevy Malibu Ford Taurus front end which is not going to hold up the car is incredibly slow. Even slower than the 1.5 CVT plus the interior is cheap-looking other than the dash which is a carryover from the Honda Civic. Look at the front end on a Honda Civic SI that is a hundred percent better looking than on the Honda Accord. My friend drove one as well as me looking for a new car for him we didn't even make it down the block it was so disappointing we turned around and went back to the dealership but we found a 2.0 Turbo and white orchid Pearl brand-new where a deal fell through as soon as you drove it he absolutely loved it that's what I would try and do before you make this purchase you are not going to like it annoys boring hideous looking cars then go for it

There were some problems with the initial release of the 1.5T but they're good now. Plus no need to worry about a turbo with these Hybrid powertrains.

I'm approaching 3wks with my Sport and the absence of fog lights still kinda bugs me despite all the other good stuff.

It can definitely be a bit confusing. I tell customers that with the new Sport Hybrid models the trim levels kind of mimic the traditional trim levels. So Sport = EX, Sport-L = EX-L. Though with Accord its odd they still offer EX-L and Sport-L together.

@@AbuBawa-sw1ut 6.6 0-60 and honestly in sport mode the thing just does what you want. The cvt is so smooth you can’t ever feel any of the drivetrain the car just goes.

I like the rims on the Sport better also...the all black wheels on the L are to match the all black trim. The Sport has chrome on the wheels to match the chrome trim.

Most car manufactures do? Either way it would cost yourself money if you wanted to change the color of trim, wheels, etc.

These modern CVTs feel much better and not rubber band like in operation thankfully. We get a lot of people miss the big motor but the Accord has always been about functional form, not a Sports sedan
