The Zuppa Tuscana is my favorite soup too. I like it so well that I grow my own kale. I grew so much that I had to freeze the kale leaves in gallon Zip Lock freezer bags. I stumbled on a real quick tip by accident. Take the bag of frozen kale and crush it up with your hands. It breaks up into small pieces which I like better than larger pieces. Keep those great recipes coming.
That is my favorite soup at Olive Garden (Zuppa Toscana). It is SOOOO flavorful. Thanks for sharing and I will try this recipe now and I can have my favorite soup at home!

Great videos! So glad I found your channel! Think I’ve saved every one so far! LOL. A helpful tip for you, anytime you use tomato paste, add it to your sautéing veggies, coated them & let it cook for a few minutes before adding any liquid. It adds so much to the flavor of the dish. I do this especially when I make beef stock from soup bones. Blessings upon you and the boys!

Mandy, I completely get the flu issue. My 6 year old son had one strain before Christmas for two weeks, then somehow contracted another strain a month later (thank god it was really only cold symptoms) for a week. This flu season is NO JOKE! By the way, love your channel and your videos. Keep it up!
Mandy, great recipes. I have made both the chicken caccatorie and zuppa toscana soup and love them both. I substitute the kale in the soup with spinach though. I am a avid soup lover so will be making the soup tomorrow. Great to see Steven helping you cook! I pray that Cole recovers quickly from the flu. Thanks for filming beautiful Gracie in this video. It all looks fantastic. I have a similar Orange chicken recipe, but the sauce is made with chunky Orange marmalade and orange juice so you really get that lovely zesty taste. You are right it is probably double the amount of sauce, so you can put some on the rice too. I pray Cole feels much better

Cheesecloth, or even a paper towel, makes for easy skin removal.( I worked in a meat dept., and had to de-skin a lot of chicken) May have told you that before, but wanted to make the subbies lives easier too😊. Prayers for Cole that this bug leaves his system!

Love that Steven isn’t afraid to jump in and help out. Cooking with your partner is an awesome bonding activity. My partner and I have to agree that we’re cooking together first, otherwise we’re kicking each other out of the kitchen. 🤣 But it’s fun when we do.

I wasn’t sure what my family would think about the kale in the Zuppa Toscana, but it was really good! I served it with some crusty bread and butter. Great flavor!

That flu really sucks. Glad that Cole is on the mends. I was sick with a bad cold/mild flu. I took 2,000 mg of Vitamin C per day which beat that cold/flu to death. I heard the flu shots were not great this year.
