I did something new with taco meat yesterday myself. I made taco cups. All you do is make your meat like usual, press some grand biscuits into a muffin tin and add the meat into the little "cups" and add cheese on top. Bake and serve with your usual taco toppings. My family loved them. If Bunky doesn't like soggy things, he might like these. Just bake them a little longer.
My momma always made Mac n cheese just like that, always from scratch and never from a box. Another recipe you can use the apricot preserves for is what I call “Sticky Chicken”.Take a whole jar of preserves and mix in a pack of Lipton Onion soup mix. Spread the mixture all over the chicken. I use whatever chicken I have. Bake in oven at 350 until chicken is 160°. Goes perfect with Mac n cheese too! It’s my most requested dish on our family beach trip.

let your mixture go cold ...then you wont get soggy bottom its because your putting hot mixture onto the raw pastry ...thats all..a easy fix ...when i bake pies i cook pie filling day before n wallah no soggy wet pastry ...hope this helps 😊😊
Either make a tighter circle with the crescents or use two packages. The whole in the middle needs to be smaller. Add dry taco season to the cheese in a mixing bowl to coat cheese, drain meat, then add to the cheese mixture and combine then add to the ring. That should help with sogginess!

When I make taco ring, I put the ends of the crescent rolls along the barrier on the inside. Towards the next roll, following the circle. It’s hard to put into words but it keeps it pretty without waste.

New potatoe idea good season zesty Italian packet , I envelope onion soup mix ( dry kind) grated cheese mix toss potatoes bin olive oil with the mix roast in oven on 375 till crispy and done flip once omg so good

Everything looked soo delicious 😋! One trick I do for the taco crescent roll meal is to make sure it’s not mushy is to double drain the hamburger meat . I have weird texture issues with soggy bread 🤣. You probably already know that tip but just thought I would share in case it was helpful 😃

Crabs are a everyday thing during the summer here in Maryland. Nothing like a Real Maryland Crabcakes. I have never seen crabcakes sold in a package like that. I will have to try those potato wedges.
Part of my Bunkey’s family is from Chesapeake Bay Area so they love some fresh seafood, and he thinks these are really delish 😋 Agree though can’t beat fresh seafood! ❤️
Jess next time you have a small amount not apricot preserve left in the jar add your hot sauce and , BBQ sauce to it mix and save for the next time you have BBQ chicken marinade us already made
Sometimes when you think it’s ugly it can be very Tasty 😋Living on The Gulf Coast we have the Blue Claw Crabs & Crab Cakes 😋👌we use Zatarains Crab Cake mix with fresh Crab meat it’s the best 😍
wait till your water boils to add salt when making pasta cause it takes longer for your water to boil with the salt in it. If you wait till it's boiling then add it will boil faster
