Crazy good! Wow. Everyone in the band was sterling but Mr. Harp destroys it with his soaring runs. That man attacks the notes. He's like a shepherd cajoling a herd of millions, by himself, with ease. Impressive stuff Eastman.
I when I want to hear some old and some good music played and performed I come to RU-vid. I always run upon something that I have not heard before and I am a lover of almost all forms of JAZZ. I know of Everette Harp and have heard of Mike Cottone. I have not heard this before. I will say one thing, if this is improvisation, I would break my neck listening to a version that has been rehearsed.
