I consider you lucky to have found even a stationary LRV on the route. When I walked the finished portion of the route a few months ago, I didn't see even that.
Hi Richard, as I was walking along there I nearly gave up but something told me that it's a lot of work to add and remove a train from the tracks unless they can now run them from the MSF. I read on Metrolinx website that they would be running trains on weekdays from 9-5. I also missed out though when I visited the Science Centre on Crosstown so I feel your pain.
I follow you for the transit updates. As you say, there is plenty of activity between subway and GO construction, so plenty of scope for future videos on transit.
It's amazing how the finch line is moving 4 times faster than Eglington. Crosslinx definitely should never be considered again for any project in the near and distant future.
Just visited Kennedy on crosstown for this weeks video. It’s doing quite well outside at least and did see a train come out of the station. Eglinton in the east end looks pretty finished now. Exciting but yeah a long time. It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes to do the Eglinton West Ext.
Yeah, there's so much to be done. I arrived in Toronto in '99. The city and the GTA should just have had constant ongoing new transit construction as it grew.
man Keele and Finch, been a tough couple of decades for transit construction.... Do what interests you, your interest will show through for good videos
