PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING: If you're playing the Seb On Golf drinking game, which involves taking a shot every time he says the word "ultimately", then please kiss goodbye to your liver. Anyway, who can guess what my next video will be?!
Used to watch him a LONG time ago, but not really given much attention over the last 2/3 years apart from the odd Hastag vid. These new vids he's putting out lately are great though
To anyone who doesn’t understand why we’re unhappy: No West Ham fan wanted to leave Upton Park but we reluctantly accepted as we were promised to progress as a club. We’ve gone backwards and the ownership has been atrocious, lies, undermining managers, awful decisions. We’ve never been good but at least we had our history and our club, now it doesn’t even feel like West Ham anymore. Massive respect to Spencer and Seb for using their platform to talk about this
If you didn't want to leave you should have made a stance, you didn't. You were told the club would progress, you have progressed, you're one of the biggest earners in world football. Your progression on the pitch hasn't improved because that's just the way football is, many teams have spent and spent and spent and not improved, you're not special oddity in being the one that does. You haven't gone backwards you've stagnated, you sacked Bilic for terrible reasons and replaced him with a top quality manager you gave big funds too, but the players you signed were ultimately expensive versions of your typical West Ham signing, average at best. You'll say now it doesn't feel like West Ham but you'll probably sign 2 or 3 players come window end have a few games and you'll all be back to normal, but instead you're all having a hissy fit because your owners sold a player who's rarely featured at your club for a big price
@@RuneTubeProduction Pellegrini was never a top manager. Roy Hogdson could've won the league with Aguero, Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic as their strikers.
Not even trying to flex at all, but the moves we’ve made (Everton) in the last few days compared to West Ham in the whole window, I understand your frustration. We have got a world class manager in and completely backed him. You’re stuck with Moyes and hardly signing anyone. I feel for yous.
Loving the content Spen but just threw my laptop at my mum when I heard the Everton reference 9 league titles v 0 5 FA Cups v 3 Most games in top flight football ever 2nd most points ever
Lots of people talk about West Ham in the same bracket as Everton even though West Ham fight relegation a lot. (Mid table bracket rather than relegation bracket)
Di Tokelio they’ve never even finished RUNNER UP. NEVER! We’ve won it 9 times over 6 different decades and been runner up 7 times over 5 different decades 😭😭😭
I wasn’t talking about history or what we’ve done. I am talking about the fan base and potential money available. By your definition Preston would be a bigger club than Man City 😂 Nice to have trigged you though...oh and how many World Cups have you won?
Suggestion: How about every month you do a West Ham video looking back at the last month of fixtures/news and give your opinion on it! You could call it like "West Ham Watch" or "Hammers Talk" etc. That would be great! Plus just more West Ham related videos in general would be great Spencer and while I miss the vlogs so much and really would love to see them return, I do totally understand why you stopped them. Keep it up man, loving the consistent uploads, very close to 2m now man!!!!!!
As a west brom fan I'm still in shock that we've managed to land Grady Diangana, I didn't understand how utterly atrocious the west ham owners were. Quality content btw spen, best of luck to hashtag and West ham this season!!
I used to watch all of your vids spen zarate days, tbh havnt watched u for a couple years but recently the vids have been brilliant and I've subed again, loving these prem vids
I’m an Evertonion and Jim white and all them Talksport pundits said exactly the same thing ‘what more do they want’ fast forward a year and we’ve gone from big Sam to carlo, Tom Davies to allan, siggy to jamez and we have great new stadium about to be built. I feel sorry for you lot but at the end of the day these next few years for use lot imo is to keep with moyes to keep use up and eventually get some new owners. Horrible next couple of years at your club I feel your pain.
I feel like the West Ham fans were sold a similar dream to Arsenal fans. Move to a bigger stadium, better for the future of the club etc. Arsenal fans were told they’re moving from Highbury to compete with the elite clubs, such as Bayern Munich etc. Turns out it just filled the owners pockets a little more. The irony of being told you’re going to compete with Bayern and the last time you were in the champions league you lost 10-1 to them on aggregate 😂
Met the man mountain Rich Beck today seemed like such a nice guy, took me for some football training. No relevance to the video, but...Great upload again, loving the new podcast style keep it up!
West Ham are nowhere near Everton historically. We have 9 leagues to West Hams 0 never mind having 2 more FA cups and spending more seasons in the top flight than anyone else. However currently both are very much mid table but hopefully Ancelotti changes that.
I want to see Everton pushing Europa league. Ancelotti and Everton have had a great transfer window and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a shocking season pushing for Champion’s league. You and your club have my full support next season. Cheers from Italy! 🇮🇹
@@Weezerfan74 How ? what I said is true historically we are bigger. West Ham and Everton both finished mid table like I said. My hope was Carlo would make us more than mid table but my wish didn't come true.
Yea, I always thought that if they don't get results in their new stadium e.g. qualifying for continental football annually, then the move would feel empty.
Watched all the West Ham vlogs but also 100% agree since you moved stadium you have been going into a downward spiral hopefully your team does well this season👍
@@owenwilmot3616 Lool. I'm an Everton fan but so many Newcastle and West Ham fans try to compare themselves to us. I do like their clubs but Everton are bigger.
I'm an Everton fan and agree with you over the Everton statement, we've always called West Ham the southern Everton an it's our favorite away day (not favorite stadium anymore tho :/) but west ham badly need new owners to kick on. Everton were desperate for new owners, we would be in west hams position right now if Moshiri never came in and imo the only reason Everton haven't properly kicked on to challenging 6 is because we've still got members of the old board on, once the likes of Kenwright leaves and our new owners have full control, I think it'll be same for the irons once new owners come in COYI ⚒
Like as a United fan i hate the Galzers, they have no vision and 98% of the signings aren’t what the manager wants and they dont make sense. However, west ham and Newcastle owners are on another level.
The sale of Diangana is mental to me Selling him for such a low price and to a relegation rival The fact that they aren’t spending money despite paying next to nothing for the stadium that’s been getting 60,000 every week for the past few seasons
Joec0b equal in history Ahahahaha are you joking you’ve never won a league mate. We have 9 league titles 5Fa cups and a European cup winners cup. We are levels above you in every way.
I’m glad you guys made this video. Every time Spencer makes his Premier League predictions I have them finishing between 6-10th place. Nothing lower than that but they always do worse than that and I never understood why. I hope you guys are back challenging for European spots soon
As a West Brom fan the Grady deal stinks of desperation from the West Ham board. None of our fans thought for a moment that we would get Grady back on a permanent until a day or two before he was announced. 12 mil + 6 mil in add ons is robbery and as pleased as I am it’s still a shame that a great club like West Ham are being torn apart by shallow pocketed owners
I understand how you guys are feeling , I’m a Huddersfield fan and we’re going through similar things as we got a new owner last season and he isn’t putting money into the club or spending Much money on improving the squad instead he’s using the clubs parachute payments to pay for the club and is now selling our 2 best players to pay for the club as well
To be fair I like West Ham but there seems to be a problem right now and I think that is something behind the scenes and I am also a Liverpool fan and we have a similar problem going on right now that we just won’t spend and it seems to be a similar case at Burnley I like West Ham and I really hope you do well next year however it will be a challenge
Admire West Ham as a club but they’re not on par with everton in terms of club pedigree. No amount of extra seats can make up a 0 - 9 league title difference.
Enjoyed the video mate but Everton are on a different level to WHU. 9 titles vs 0, no brainer. Not to say West Ham aren't a fairly big club themselves mind.
Hi Spencer I’m a West Ham fan, (15) I love the club and have supported all my life. I feel like we’ve lost our identity. I’ve been a season ticket holder since we moved to the new stadium, and going to games just isn’t enjoyable a lot of the time.
Fully agree with Seb on the relegation idea for West Ham. Whilst G&S may not be able to sell the club until 2023 at the minimum, if WHU do get relegated before then, it may force their hand into selling the club to an owner who’s willing to invest the money required to bolster and compete with already established clubs in the top half of the PL, being relegated massively depreciates their asset, which they might have to sell at a cut price to make sure they don’t walk away at worst empty handed, or at best make a small profit. Plus, WHU would probably bounce straight back up from the Championship, which we all know brings in a lot of money
As an arsenal fan you leaving upton park was like us leaving highbury it was supposed to move the club to another bigger level but has regressed the club , it will be the same like what happened to arsenal where you have a decent squad but will have to sell your best players but honestly hope west ham get back to the days of 9 to 13th where it was you had 3 to 4 flair players and could trouble the top 6 teams in one off games.
Have a great week spen, good luck with the # games, can’t wait to have a women’s like meet vid on the channel, and just so buzzing with everything you’re doing
We're not as big as Everton but we're not that far off. Bang on about Anderson going before Grady. Brilliant chat fellas. Concise, succinct and comprehensive overview of where we're at. Big congrats on your, nerve wracking, penalty shootout in the cup boys! COYI!
The media perspective of what do West Ham fans want is the same that my club Everton has faced when we had Sam Allardyce now we’ve got Ancelotti and signing the likes of James Allan and Doucoure. West Ham’s board needs to show ambition that matches the fans
As a West Ham fan with a season ticket for 18 years, last year I would rather go out with my pals to events than go West Ham games, proper fell out of love with going to West Ham games
Spence I love you man but you’re nowhere near Everton, they sign players like James whilst you struggle to survive the league, you’ve got Moyes whilst they’ve got Ancelotti
As a stoke fan, Seb is spot on. We finished 9th three seasons in a row and since we’ve gone down we have more REALISTIC ambitions and you do enjoy going and watching
I'm a Watford fan, and I'm completely baffled how West Ham allowed Ngakia join us. He's a quality young full back and I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing at the top in the future. For him to join, a league lower, when it looked like he would get playing time with you. It's outrageous.
Really enjoying the recent content Spencer been subscribed for over 5 years from the days when you used to do FM saves with True Geordie but think recently you have grown with your audience with this type of mature content and got me back engaged with your uploads, keep up the good work!
You should start a podcast again with you seb and maybe different guests every week, it doesn’t always even have to be about football every week that would be class. Anyway love the content keep it up 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm certain rice will leave, there's no future at this club. Another relegation battle or compete for a title with a amazing team assembled by Chelsea? Come on rice, join the dark side. Let's go now. :) ruining football since 2004 :')
@@Reeak1 I meant it in a way, rival clubs are calling us names.. like we're buying the league, ffp come for you.. blah blah blah so yeah that's why I said that.
6 times but it’s still very regretful what has happened, De Bruyne is the best midfielder and the other two are very good, I agree that what West Ham fans are going through is worse because it’s there premier league futur that is in question but it’s still annoying to sell these players too early.
Im a Villa fan and sebs point on playing in the championship is exactly what i thought a few years ago. The three years in the championship was great to watch as we progressed and eventually got promoted. We barely survived in the premier league for a few years before we got relegated and it was some what of a relief when we got relegated as then we could restart
I'm a villa fan and I see us on the same level but I see West ham on the same level as Leicester, wolves, Portsmouth and man city they are hardly a big club they still go on about winning the world cup ffs
@@paulcox4577 even now I wouldn't class them as huge and money shouldn't talk as much as history, that's like saying Crawley and Forest green rovers are bigger than Notts county because they are achieving more right now?
