What amazes me in watching one of your YT videos from another is how you can make changes in your voice that can almost make you think a different person is singing. I do not know of any singer in history that has more versatility. A true vocal technician. From Classic Crooner, 70s Folk to belting out full fledged 80s Rock Screams that any hair band lead singer would envy. Can only imagine how in demand you must be as a voice.coach yourself. So thankful for your sharing your gift with us.
Beautiful performance, Ryan. Pitch and tone perfect as always. The simple appropriateness of the rhythm tracks. What I really loved was the plaintive jazziness you approached your performance with, which respected the great original without devolving into karaoke. Outstanding! Thank you for this, sir.
Hey Ryan! Found out about you watching The Voice way back when years ago!! Your control and mixed voice is so inspiring and amazing! hope you keep up w the good music!
What has me stumped is how Mr. Quinn's speaking voice is pretty low but he sings in much higher keys.. Like Barry White talking then he starts singing and Smokey Robinson comes out. No complaints as he sounds better than 95% of those those topping the charts these days.
Hi Craig - Hahah, I love that description! I guess I'm a baritone who is able to sing in a tenor range by way of stubborn determination. Thanks for watching!
Eh, it's become a trendy thing to do, probably because of Ed Sheeran. I've always like it because I'm a drummer. If you'd like to see someone do something truly unique with it, I would check out Bernhoft. (and thank you!)
