My mother worked in a state funded school that was for kids who had needs that public schools could not meet. Most of these kids came feom homes that used drugs and sold the children in exchange for drugs and drug money. This all happened in NY state. I remember one boy who was eight and looked and acted five, if the five year old was developmentally delayed and malnourished. He was used for s*x by hundreds of men since he was three. This takes a lot of courage to get involved in one must be willing to risk everything... but in person visits to the capital of your state ie demonstrations, talking to your representative, governor and anyone in a position of influence. When he said Houston was a hub for trafficking my heart stopped. I took my daughter to a Rockets game at the Toyota center. 15 minutes before the end of the game she was antsy and wanted to go to the gift shop to find a basketball. While we were there, almost empty shop, a woman kept bumping into us and separating our hands. My daughter was 4 years old and I did not want her to wander and more people were entering the store. She asked for a Yao jersey. It was game where he broke his leg. I pulled her in front of me and reached up to pull one down and this B*tch bumps into me again. I looked down and my daughter was gone. I was frantic and immediately started shouting at the clerks to call for security. I was very fortunate that God puts the right people in the right places. A boy, about 10 years old or so saw me loosing my shit and flagged down a security officer who took my description. Most of the details are unclear to me, the boy was still standing there with us and then took off after I described her i think. It happened so fast. I was shown the way by either the officer or the boy, or both, I remember seeing them both in the periphery, up to the security desk at the closest entrance. There was my daughter standing on a ledge behind the desk with about 6 other kids. On the way home, my kid told me the lady took her hand in the store and told her she was Cinderella and would take her to meet the other princesses. While all this was going on, my sisters were checking all the restrooms looking for adults changing the clothes of little kids. One of my sisters had just read something about child traffickers cutting kids hair and changing their clothes in restrooms to avoid recognition. I thank God for that boy, the parents that raised him, the security officers, and everyone who had a hand in finding her so quickly. ***reading comments and realized that I did not mention that the boy that helped security find my daughter was with his dad. Dad didn't talk to me because he was listening to his son talk to security. The boy likely recognized the description of the Strawberry shortcake jacket my kid was wearing. It kind of stood out at a basketball game.

I was homeless as a young teen. I also was almost a victim of human trafficking on more than one occasion. I knew what ally ways to run down, which dumpsters to hide behind and which stores to run into to avoid the trafficers or get them off my trail. I also knew and loved and befriended many other kids on the streets,in my same situation who weren't as lucky me. I miss them. They didn't run off or move away or overdose in some woods somewhere they were taken. Even when they were taken, even when there were witnesses, even when the police were informed on the license plate or car/persons description and how screaming mothers recalled how they seen there kid kicking and screaming and fighting before getting dragged into the back of a van and they couldn't save them, nothing was done. There's no parades for them. There wasn't even a single little article in the newspaper despite reports. "Another troubled boy/girl on the streets went missing? Same as every week." I grew up and was homeless in Stockton CA.

Even today, there is a serious issue of human trafficking in Stockton, Lodi, Galt and all the surrounding areas. It breaks my heart. Watch out for yourself and your loved ones. Even in the well-to-do places. Just be careful, friend. Stockton can be an indiscriminately bad place, if given the opportunity.

There have been plenty of smaller youtubers trying to cover and expose the horrifying truth of child trafficking and youtube completely deletes their channel. I hope joe can keep talking about this and raise awareness
I'm guessing running around accusing celebrities and politicians of being pedophiles without a shred of actual evidence is the reason their channels get deleted.
@@mickym.6711 Yeah there are a couple of channels like that but there was one in particular that i really miss His channel was Mouthy Buddha and his videos were well researched and kept identities hidden. Im sure there was a reason why youtube deleted his channel but it just makes me sad personally.
@@mickym.6711 The ones I saw weren't saying it was celebrities. They putting websites out there that are fronts for human trafficking. They even showed themselves talking to the fbi. They cut out the words youtube won't let you say, kept names private and told everyone not to do anything to let the authorities handle it....within 24 hrs they got banned on youtube, Facebook and Twitter. I've seen this happen twice. I've seen videos deleted from 2 other channels and the channel demonizatized permanently.

My dad said he worked at Walmart and he always talked to this older lady, she was so sweet and a door greater, always said hi and always was on time and very known at the Walmart location My dad said she ended up going to prison along with her husband for holding 6 children in her basement for years

The traffickers have watched all these videos on how to spot trafficking and have devised new methods to not be spotted. A typical case is a guy married to a Filipina, two kids born in the U S . One day he’s at work, comes home, no wife no kids. Makes a few calls with no results. Files missing persons report. Two or three days later, it’s discovered she left the country with the kids. Now they are in the Philippines, so they can be trafficked to Thailand. Trying to stop all of this is because of all the bureaucracy and corruption is almost impossible.
It’s so sad that we don’t go to “war” over this. They are children. Women. Even men. Having to go through unspeakable things, all these stupid things in the news. When this should be NUMBER ONE EVERYDAY.
Yeah agreed, unfortunately this runs from the top down. Here in the UK your kids can be forcefully adopted against your will and there's nothing you can do about it. I hear it's a similar thing in the USA aswell.

My thought, maybe said soldier found something out he wasn't supposed to and was taken out, or was asked to do a favor but he/she refused to participate in that kind of disgusting activity. Neither do they're story make it to national news.

Good idea! this would actually be informative on their positions. In reality it would be too risky for both of them. You cant have a slip up in 3 hrs. the questions would have to be known pre interview, and Joe would probably not accept to doing that.
