There's a cracking little decent at 3.29 on the video. Take a left straight after the stone pillar, and it brings you out at the start of the Roman road climb.
Did this same loop for the first time in summer when it was 35 degrees, as lovely as it looks in winter I think I prefer the conditions I had. Glad I got to experience Lockerbrook before they changed it, loads of dips and humps with a sketchy ledge on the ide if I recall right. Got nowhere as near to the barn on the climb, bailed out when it changed to the cobbles, was saving energy due to the heat. great ride, pencilled in for next year.
We have to take this as a positive unfortunately for a local mountain biker in the Peak District 70% of the trails are in a very bad place hopefully rushup edge cavedale etc will see some sanitation or drainage works so we can enjoy some real big MTB loops without sinking into shite or dodging into 2ftx2ft ruts most of the ride nothing exciting about those natural bogged down unrideable trails 90% of the year unless your a ladybower enduro Rider 1 climb 20 descents
