Finally a gap in the weather. Let's explore Rhyl and see how the town is after disappointing summer weather. Tell us your memories and favourite places to visit
Did you used to holiday here before the move? So glad you have settled in. Part of the reason we started this channel was to spread a bit of positivity as it so easy for people to berate an area rather than appreciate what's here. Have you got any favourite areas? 😊
@@outandaboutwithus we have been coming here for years. Yes it has changed but I still love it. You have driven past ours on your vlogs. I would never move now this is home. We got work here and settled and best move we made.
Rhyl is still very nice but on a sunday its like a ghost town nice beaches and fab arcades btw thanks for Llandudno vid and orme and goat and sheep watch
I popped into Rhyl today for a few things I needed and it was looking really neglected and everything closed 😢. Wanted a drink but nowhere was open to get one . Rhyl needs more indoor activities to keep holiday makers coming back . I remember when there was Space City and Captain Noah’s play area, great for families. The old sea life could make a great ice/ roller rink . Great video 🩷x
It was odd today as even pound bakery and greggs were closed. No costa anymore so it would definitely benefit from a coffee shop. Would love a roller rink/ ice rink. The sea aquarium as it is seems such a waste and with uk weather indoor activity is definitely what any holiday resort needs we 💯 👍 xx Did you manage to get the other bits you needed xx
@@outandaboutwithus I did thank you ☺️popped to The Works in the White Rose centre for a couple books and Matalan for some cute bedding . I hope Rhyl never looses those shops lol x
Really good video quality and sound fair play, wind noise can be a pain when filming what ever is used....but not much in this video, enjoyed this, do you remember that place by the old fun fair with a Gorilla head on the outside or whatever it was....quite scary as a kid...lol....many thanks 🙂
Spud remembers it definitely. I don't but Spuds was born and bred here, I'm in a english imagrant lol only been here 23 years 😂 but used to love going to the fair ground. Love thinking back to how things were. It's the same in Morecambe where I'm from. Used to love the funfair there too. Morecambes history is very similar to Rhyl. With the unfortunate lack of investment but miles and miles of beautiful beaches ⛱️ think link takes you to a post saying exactly the question you asked and picture of it too facebook.com/share/p/hjmTju7HP7gvK68Y/
