You just gotta abuse the logo a little and it will show up, so kids if you can’t see the McDonalds logo while in the drive thru, just beat it up with your stand
The staircase climb in the first or second one? He does say that the Tarot card staircase ending mimics the ending of sono chi no sadame, so he might have meant that part too.
actually I heard it was referencing the old OVA of stardust crusaders where the a scene was added in which they climb a similar stair in a similar angle
I always saw that staircase as a metaphor for the battle against Dio. Jonathan starts the walk up the stairs, referencing that he begins the fight with Dio, and Jotaro finishes the climb, signifying that he's the one who kills Dio.
@@Skailbour Pretty sure he said "10 seconds have passed" right when roadroller was smashed entirely into the ground. At that point Jotaro used stop time, but Dio kept counting. Otherwise Jotaro would be toothpaste I imagine.
also in the 2nd part three op, in the beginning the characters who die have their color pallets swapped (avdol and kakyoin are obvious but iggy is a bit harder to spot, the inside of his ears are a different color) which is interesting
Also one more thing, The first three openings are sang by three different singers. Sono Chi no Sadame's singer has a very robust, deep and manly voice. Bloody Stream's singer has a lighter more flamboyant voice. And Stand Proud's singer is somewhere in the middle of the first two. The 4th OP is a trio combing voices that fit those descriptions. After listening closely and doing some research I found out that the 4th OP is indeed sung by the singers of the previous 3. The previous parts are coming together for the finale of part 3, Just like how Jonathan, Joseph, and Jotaro all come together at the end of part 3. These openings are deep as hell.
When Polnareff uses two swords with Silver Chariot during the manga pose character call, the fact he suddenly gets two swords is a sly reference to the Anubis fight when Polnareff is possessed and adds the cursed sword to Chariot's other hand to duel Jotaro.
An hella hidden detail: At 2:22, the credits change to show WRRRYYY !!!!! Also SPOILERS FOR THE MANGA At 2:33 it's in fact Pucci's hand pushing the camera away
@@loganhendon688 If I remember correctly, he is African-American. As a priest, and even priest-in-training, he wore a white shirt and a black vest (Or coat.. or robe....) over it. The hand is too dark to be Dio's hand :/
It's either the nine seconds or the nine Egyptians gods Stand that they fight during this part. I think it's more the gods because later in the op when see the shadows of the Egyptians gods waving on the protagonists at the same rythm as the pendulum did in the beginning
+Awesgaga A pendulum, however, relates a lot more to a clock, right? They already have the gods in the pendulum swing shadows, and not in the most streamlined fashion either.
The very name of this opening's song, End of the World, is also a reference to both what's at stake and DIO's stand which doubles as his life/soul. Whoever wins in this crusade a world will end.
Y'know, if you've never seen JoJo before, hearing some of this shit said aloud just makes it sound hilarious. "The Stardust Crusaders stand on a staircase in Kenny G's illusory labyrinth." Yeah. I should watch JoJo sometime.
+DetectiveOlivaw "Hol realizes he had to put his trust in the 100% effectiveness of the Oingo Boingo brothers manga and stick his fingers up Polnareffs nose if he wanted to survive"
5:48 I absolutely love this because it shows off polnareff’s character. He looks calm and collected as he stands and summons silver chariot, but as his stand starts to attack he loses his composure and yells. Polnareff, despite all of his attempts to stay cool and collected, is a very emotional and impulsive character. And I believe this tiny bit of animation captures that perfectly.
Yet I found Caesar's death hit me harder of the deaths so far in what I've watched. Note that I just finished JoJo's part 3 and decided to check out the details I might have missed, given that I haven't dared to look too deeply into the op since everyone says the op pretty much spoils the anime. Which it totally does. Anyways. I feel like if I had to rank the big deaths so far, I'd say Caesar, followed by Kakyoin, then Wammu, then George Joestar I, then Caesar's father, then Zappelli the first, finally Iggy followed by Avdol. The only reason Avdol didn't make it higher on the list was because I barely registered it in the moment and his earlier death fake out kinda pissed me off a bit. I actually teared up when he got shot and then he randomly shows up again. Which I mean, his stand made it obvious that it was possible--it looks like a damn phoenix for heaven's sake. Iggy I actually despised for most of the anime. I get that it wasn't his choice to go with them, but his character didn't get enough development to make that ending feel earned. Like the only incentive he had was that the dead falcon Pet Shop tried to kill him and now all of the sudden the selfish lazy mongel is team JoJo?
small head dictates what people will do and they must do it no matter what king crimson starts erased time during which he can do what he wants and move however he wants and react to everything thats happening though everyone else must do what small head said they will. After erased time is complete the time actually gets erased and everything that happened during is forgotten and they just find themselves in the final position.
MGOWNER1 I know it doesn't happen fool, obviously as anyone who's read part 5 knows SC is cripple as fck. The duel wield is from his fight with Anubus, now kindly exit my presence you peasant.
Unlimited Blade Works. I like the time travel angle a lot in general. not the world's hugest fate fan though. My favourite part of the series is Zero which is apparently heresy or something.
To be fair DIO never claimed he could stop time for 5 seconds. He said he could stop time for what he felt was about 5 seconds after extensive testing, since he couldn't be 100% sure due to time itself being stopped.
That's WHY Dio thinks he can stop time for about 5 seconds....He's guestimating based on his feeling. And try it some time, with no frame of reference you will miscount every single time, which he even mentions as why he isn't sure, and says it feels like about 5 seconds.
[Stand Name] Mom’s credit card [Stand User] You [Stand abilities] Get vbucks and robux [Stand Weakness] your mom’s balance goes negative and it’s weak against ZA BELTO
here is more, miss the part that in Joseph's purple hermit, there is a bubble in there, that is for Ceaser. Also, if you make the last part of Stand Proud much slower, where Star Platinum break the "glass", there is one small piece of glass that has Kujo Jotaro on it. That is the receipt which Jotaro give to the Lover after the long-ass Ora. Last, in the end, Za Warudo actually stoped the OP by 9 seconds. The part that they riding caramels, Polnareff is riding a turtle, that is referring P5. Also where all five of them facing the building, and Polnareff is the only one moved, is referring that he is the one that acts alone pretty much the entire final fight.
@@DXDragon38 And one last thing, the person who wrote the song Stand Proud. In the song where it sings All right now, All right now. The singer was trying to pronounce it as well as it can. But the writer was like, don't worry, just give a Ora Ora feeling
+Mother's Basement wait until the that part ends maybe there will be special effects in the opening like dio says the world in the last 2 stardust crusaders episodes
I love how in Stand Proud the Jojo generation lineup at the beginning shows you just how much the series has changed from part 3 onwards. You see Jonathan and Joseph doing their fighting poses, then all of a sudden Jotaro stands still and relaxed, before Star Platinum Rises to do all his fighting for him..
note: the shot in stand proud of the staircase before you see Dio's spirit photo is the very similar to the shot of the staircase in sono chi no sadame, again, alluding to how DIO came back to life.
8:35 "this analysis is primarily cinematic, so logically whichever OP has the strongest erection should win."....i couldnt have said it better myself. i mean, seriously guys...who DOESNT get an erection watching JoJo?
When Star Platinum punches the barrier in front of Dio's picture at the end of Stand proud, you can see it's body is gold in the reflection, hinting to a.) The World being a similar stand b.) the dual rush attack in the final fight.
Owari Dragon puts opponent in year-spanning hiatuses, while their souls are forced to marathon and 100% all idol and rhythm games. If they can't do that within the timespan, their soul is destroyed.
I'm not sure bout this but Enyaba mentioned some resemblance on the antagonists and one of them is this Orangutan that stand's name is Forever and it resembles strength.
also the second op of stardust crusaders has a combination of the singers from the first three openings of JoJo (Tommy: sono chi no sadame, coda: bloody stream, jin: stand proud) lots of people just skip this opening for not having a beginning hook like stand proud or the other openings.
4:40 Wow, it must've been VEEEEERY difficult to edit the music so that you could end the opening at the end of the FULL VERSION, as well as your description of the OP; dear god, that ws awesome...
IN PART 4 IT GOES FROM THE SECOND OP TO THE FIRST OP. IN PART 5 IT SKIPS FROM THE FIRST OP TO THE SECOND OP. IN PART 6 THE OP BECOMES FASTER AND FASTER. OH GAWD
+Crims0nKing1 In part 8 the OPs slowly fade away as if they were being forgotten(*spoilers* Part 8 still doesn't have a definitive "bad guy", so we'll have to go with the real enemy: Jo2uke's amnesia)
Can you imagine the type of stuff they would put into part 4s opening? Explosions? Count to 3 over koichis head? Arrow zipping across map of morioh? I want them to make a part 4 anime so bad
Part 4 with Akira: We see electricity in background, then in last Akira episode we See RHCP instead. Part 4 with Kira: We see bubbles flying, then in last Episode the ending returns half-way to the first ending Part 5 with Diavolo: We see some incongruences with positions and movements, then in the last episode King Crimson shows up in those exact same moments Part 6 with Pucci: Ending is pretty normal, then in last episode we see it going faster and faster until it restarts Part 7 with D4C: We see the ending normally, but in last episode american flags are everywhere and characters randomly multiply Part 8: Don't know. Not even Jo2uke knows.
you missed the one frame where you Can see the crédits turns into WRYYYY right after the 6 shooting stars in stand proud!! Its really brief, litterally one , single, frame. This Is supposed to be dio's wryyy, from the direction to which the crusaders are heading :)
DoctorMario606 Good on you for using my comment against me, but that joke was used so often in middle school so it lost all meaning. Like the word cringe or savage.
You forgot a little detail at 7:43 where, if you watch closely the shard of glass in the right bottom corner, you can see movement in it, the reflection of DIO's movement during the stopped time. Just a little but super neat detail.
Fucking amazing video, but at 7:22, isn't that the silhouette of Star Platinum? It'd have to be, right? It foreshadows (alludes?) to Star Platinum punching the knives in frozen time, and the colors contrast with The World's orang-ish colors, in the Kakyoin and Joseph parts just before it. Just a small thing. Either way, great video, and I can't wait to see more.
clockknight Yes. That was something I caught while editing the final video but adding a comment about it would have messed with the timing of some other stuff.
So, i've spent a lot of time to translate second OP part to russian. Hope it will help someone.
In Kioku when everyone is standing on the staircase and the credits for the song title "Sono chi no Kioku" and shown, the kanji briefly changes to "Sono chi no Sadame" when the singer says Sadame
@@refraggedbean No no i know editing i dont really remember why I said this, but I think I was just impressed that what he was saying matched the visuals
Dusty Black Mine would be Bloody Stream, Sono chi no sadame, Stand Proud, Sono chi no kioku. I do love them all, but Bloody Stream gets me pumped every damn time.
And that's what it's from. I mean... saying he never does it and then mentioning the time where he does it... you are kind of shooting yourself in the foot.
Isaias Vazquez Yeah no. I am seeing where your experience with bleach comes in here. You are kinda losing the thread of our conversation. You contradicted yourself. I pointed it out. You followed up by contradicting yourself yet again. I said you are stupid for not even getting why its a cotnradiction and then trying to shift the mistake on me. lol
You've probably already had this pointed out in the last four years that this video's been up, but the accent in Jotaro's name is on the first o, not the a. It's Jótaro, not Jotáro
