I have some chamomile tea bags in mine for a similar reason. I drink caffeine during the day but not after 6pm. I have a little tin from The Bright Side that says "if no teabags are found, panic,". In all seriousness though, we did find that restaurants and cafes don't tend to carry decaf tea, so when my husband was caffeine free before his heart surgery last year, I was carrying decaf teabags too. I have to agree with you about the cross body strap too. I have a walking stick, and when things are really bad I am on crutches so being "hands free" is really important. I also have a small purse with a wrist strap on it, which fits my phone in it too, for if I need to pop to the local shop etc and don't want to carry a big bag. Both my bag and my purse are Kipling products. I love that they are easily cleaned and very practical. The other thing I have always carried is hand sanitiser. When my daughter was very young, she was terrified of hand driers, particularly the noise, partly because of her autism. It was always much easier to use the gel when out and about. The habit has stuck, and comes in handy when traveling up and down the M5 as Strensham service are very hit and miss, particularly the disabled toilet. I also keep a mini tangle teaser in my bag. I have a limited edition Union Jack one, and I tend to keep a hair bobble around it in case Madam forgets or snaps her bobble. I learned this one the hard way! She's 15 now, so theoretically should be responsible for it herself, but old habits die hard. We all have tangle teasers at home too.
😫 I now have that song stuck in my head! What's on your plate!!!! Aaarrrggghhhh!!!! I shall be singing it all night! Also my daughter was watching over my shoulder and lol at you when you were talking about tea bags 😂
"What's on your plate?" :) I can't believe I've never thought of a cross body bag...I've got a 2 and 4 year old so I've always opted for a mummy leather mini backpack...thankfully these are fashionable at the moment but I'd much rather one like this!
BTW I don't drink caffeine either (well I do drink normal tea but I always drink decaf coffee for similar reasons - AKA all the best ones don't drink caffeine!)
Whoop ! Someone else who carries around decaf tea bags !!!! Yay ! At last a twinnie ! 👏 My family think I'm crazy carrying around my own tea bags but ordinary tea bags make me anxious too and my heart races ! But you are obviously posher than me Emma as I have mine in a plastic sandwich bag 🤦♀️I might look out for a little fancy pot like yours ! Lots a love Susanna - decaf queen 👸
as u are turning 21 i think the husband should treat you to a designer handbag! i asked my husband as i am 18 this yeah *cough* ok 30. he said i can have a designer carrier bag and pretend!
I don't drink caffeine either! It gives me palpitations - oh the shake of caffeine too hardcore...! I'm always apologetically handing over my own teabags cringing in case people presume I'm up the duff AGAIN 🙈
Shame - Not shake. Sorry I typed too fast - I was too excited that the husband said he'd put the baby down to sleep so I could go down and have a glass of wine. Must get a grip!

You made my day finally I know I am not alone with the no caffeine thing haven't been able to drink it since I cut it out when I was pregnant. Think it's mother nature's joke..." ha ha you have kids but you can't have caffeine" 😉
@brummymummyof2 aren't you fab?! Bloody love your vlogs. I am also a decaf tea gal and the amount of times I'm made to feel like a mass murderer when I bring out my own decaf tbag.. "you drink decaf?! Are you mad?! Why can't you just be normal like us!" They say! To be fair I used to judge decaffers accordingly abit like vegans (sorry vegans!) but I've since seen the error of my ways and have learned not to judge! Love ya xxx
