What's in My Convention Bag?

When you are watching the video but then you realize You have never been to a con and probably never will😂

this has definitely helped me plan what to put in my bag, cheers for this jess :D

On the topic of bringing water,, One year I remember bringing two water bottles: one for me and one for any friends who didn't mind sharing. These emptied pretty quickly and as I was still a total noob and there was water and cups at the hotel connected to the con space, I figured it would be okay to recycle my bottles and just live off of the water at the hotel. Huuuge mistake!! It was a solid ten minute walk through the skywalk, so every time I got thirsty I had to walk over to the hotel, get my drink, then walk back. It was awful. And it gets better. After the twenty minutes of desperate speed-walking, I was thirsty. I ended up going back and forth about four times in 90 minutes. Go ahead, count up the minutes. I essentially spent an hour and a half going to get a drink, then returning from one. The only reason it stopped is because I just decided to stay in the hotel for a while and chill.

If you’re confused as to why I’m posting so often it’s because I challenged myself to make a video every other day in the month of July even if it’s not as perfect as I'd like it to be. Hopefully it will boost my creativity and motivation :) Also I forgot to take my glasses off for this video so I’M SORRY FOR THE GLARE

i ma just like this, no one ever sees me without a bag because i believe you should always have a bag filled with things just in case anything or something goes on you will always have something to get from it. bags are life

This video was a life savor for me! I attended my first anime convention this year and i was so worried I wouldn't have what I needed. Thanks so much for all the tips and tricks. Snacks were great to have, I would have never thought food could be so pricey. Well mainly because I was doing a lot of shopping in the vendor room. I can't wait to see more of your videos.

@JessIsAMess a cool cosplay trick for blotting sheets is those toilet cover things you find in public bathrooms. now, it's for when you're desperate but you can grab a few or one and blot away. they work really well just like some of the sheets I've used.

Love the video! I always have snacks with me because I can get impulsively hungry sometimes so it's nice to have a snack.

I made my wig cap by taking a pair of tights and flipping them inside out, then tying the legs tightly, I then cut the legs and flipped them right side out. I didn't need to sew it, but you can if you need to, or want to.

Hey Jess, just curious if youve heard of the 5-2-1 rule of conventions? When I go to my local Cons, they put it in the brochure/pamphlet/travel guide/thingy so that people can follow appropriately and not kill themselves over the weekend, and it seems like you go to more than myself (maybe one every year or 3), so Im assuming youre familiar. (And also yes, it is a Hot Topic bag, as a former employee, I can vouch. Also, I love Zeldies ^_^)
