I'm getting ready to start Cosmetology school in the next year or so and I'm so freaking excited! I've worked so hard and I'm so psyched to get started professionally.

I'm finishing of my second year of Culinary Management. When I worked in the summer for my COOP I realized I hate working in kitchens. Now I've applied for a hairstyles course and when I see this video it make me excited. I cant wait to go on this journey :)

Your kit is so much more organized than mine lol. We have like one small size kit and everything was just put into it and we were told we might want to organize it lol. Also the textbooks I have the same as you. They're sooo light(they make my backpack way a ton!!) but ahh I love watching your old videos since we're doing the same things!!

Ugh lol im a cosmetolgy student and i got a horrible kit, yours is awesome we had to wait about 6 weeks for ours to come in and then we open it got some like 20 dollar shears that fall apart in your hand I had to by to buy new ones didnt even get a flat iron 😣 got 4 flimsey combs and 2 round brushes I only got one manniquin then they wonder what happens to mine and why its all cut up after backtable is over with I didnt even get a padle brush or anything I had to go and buy one and our kit came in a box! lol I wanna come to your school!! 😣😣😣😂😂 i glad you're enjoying you school I wish you the best of luck and excuse me for venting what Im trying to say is you school is awesome Im glad you having a great experience

I literally didn’t even get half of this stuff at Paul Mitchell the school 🙃

Those mannequins are fantastic. My cosmetology school and the supplies provided wasn’t that great. We got 4 mannequin heads and the only long haired one had synthetic hair. Our early instructor had us cut ALL of the length off of the long haired mannequin. I was so mad 😡

what was your biggest mistake on a client? did you learn? did you cry ? how bad was it?

Speaking of you wearing makeup for 12 hours. Have you tried the milani setting spray. Girl I work 10 hours overnight and face be beat and that spray makes it last 12 13 hours. If you wanna bump it up like on a thurs or fri for going out i been using the MAC soft yellow set powder. I will literally look I could do a photo shoot at 7am. The powder will really tune done some those drugstore foundation that might be a little orange or red for black girls like me. Side note is the school you go to a chain
