I may try this bag on kid #2. We started with a bag, and it wasn't working for me at all, so we switched to a backpack style, which I have really enjoyed. But I'm saving this video for consideration when we're shopping for number 2. I'd be really interested in regular updates on what you use. Like every 6 months, this is what's in our diaper bag at this age for my child. I always see people do videos for the newborn age, then videos for the toddler age, but there's a big gap in between where the child is changing rapidly. What we've ended up doing for the spare change of clothes is if he makes it through the full day without getting super dirty or sticky, we throw that outfit in the diaper bag as the spare outfit. I hate washing clothes that aren't really dirty yet so that helps me feel like I'm not wasting time, money and energy. And none of them are clothes that matter if they have a few wrinkles. Clean folded clothes end up wrinkled in the bag anyway. And when he's having a day where we need to change outfits, it tends to be at least 3 outfit day. Things like art day at home, being really messy eating, sneezing a lot before I can catch the snot, diaper overflow, etc. Ours has a few food allergies so we also have to pack snacks he can eat no matter how short the trip we think we're taking is, because it's hard to find anything on the go we can be sure isn't contaminated. I think the empty space in the middle of this bag would be perfect for us for that need

ahhh yes I'd love to do an update on this! he'll be 6 months old in a few weeks so that might be something I could do soon!! thanks for that idea!!🤗 and I looooove the idea of putting clothes that are just barely dirty into the bag to use as the spare outfit! I'm probably definitely going to steal that idea from you lol thank you so so much for this comment!
