may want to add a tourniquet to your bag one of my friends had a hunting accident in the swamp where he ended up getting shot in the forearm if it wasn't for the tourniquet he would have bled out.
Just packed mine up tonight. Our season opener is tomorrow. One extra thing I make sure is always in there is a cleaning rod. Mine is a screw together one so takes up no space and is very handy for poking out anything that might get jammed up. Especially a stuck shell!
I learned my lesson about floating and waterproof/water shedding blind bags last weekend during the Oregon youth opener...will be buying a banded air 2 bag soon
About the gloves. Latex coated knit gloves work way better than leather. Cattails and weeks wont cut through and the grip is better. If they get wet dry em out and good to go. Wont crack or stiffen up like leather. Good vid like always.
my bag is just my tags, my calls, a folding knife, my gun chokes, my headlamp, my lock that i put through my action when i’m not using it because i don’t have a metal safe i just have a soft case. whatever snacks or drinks i pack, there is ALWAYS extra socks in there, shells. that is what i have every hunt
I just got a case of hevi metal. Instead of face paint I bought a sitka balaclava, it's definitely something you should grab. It's very comfortable and does a very very good job of hiding your face.
Last year I tried fiocchi 2 shot 3 inch and laid 2 honkers out with one shot 2 teal this year one shot and 2 merganser last year also with one shot they pattern so nice out of my gun and cheap to shoot also keep posting season coming
Good light no I won't wear paint I use a mask if needed. I have several knives on me at all times most fixed blade one folder in my pocket always. Sunglasses not so much if your info the sun they reflect bad. Put tape around your dog whistle? Yes on short lanyard and I change calls often. I use both single reed and double reed plus a couple goose calls. And the bug repellent thing is cool saw them on tv but have never noticed them at the store. Trust me when you get older you'll appreciate wearing gloves especially after you get arthritis. I use black cloud and it does a bunch of damage also. Have some blindside it works but not as good as black cloud. Coffee man you have to have coffee!! And my blind bag has way more in it and it's not that much bigger than this one. Maybe I should do a videoing day I'll have to hurry I'm not as young as you. Nice video and it's good you think of your dog I have some guys I hunt with that they really shouldn't own dogs if you know what I mean. And thank God they don't have kids!!
Tip to remove the paint ..if your wife uses makup wipe (walmart sells then ) just i like baby wipes but they remove the face paint they are awesome and cheep..😜👌
I didn't think this needed to be said but aparently it does. 1. Do not use baby wipes if you are planning to relieve yourself not in an appropriate recepticale. They are not biodegradable and it's just gross. 2. look for biodegradable tp/ cottenelle wet wipes (aka the only flushable wipes). 3. Don't S* on public land... You think we all want to put our hands or wade in your excretion... Also it can cause an issue with the ecology. Try to plan ahead... if an emergancy does occur find an area that would be sheltered from normal traffic and is preferably elevated where you can dig a proper cat hole... For the love of god DO NOT USE BABY WIPES unless you plan to pack them out...
@@MidValleyMercenaries ive shot hevi metal it doesnt knock the geese dowm like the kents. 1560 and way better patterns from kent then hevi its been proven
