I just wanted you to know that because of these videos, I actually got over being scared of the gym. I walked In all nervous but as soon as I got to work, I wasn't scared anymore. today was the first day I've ever stepped foot in a gym, and I loved it. so thank you.
Hey beast thanks for the motivation I lost 40 and joined the army and honestly I couldn't have done it without you, because I had no idea how nutrition worked before I found your channel, thanks!
Veggies made me fat?.....haha jk but I've been vlogging about my health journey a little bit and my music journey..I dropped out of college at 18 and you're a huge inspiration...just looking to make friends ❤️😇much love
"I like to bring Faith with me to the gym all the time" John youre an inspiration man. I started my journey at 268 on Jan 7, 2017 and I'm down to 255, it's not alot of weight but I have 90% of my body covered in psoriasis and it makes exercising and loosing weight difficult and painful. I have faith that with my actions I'll continue to lose weight, but you're a big part of my motivation! Love you man.
pro tip: if you stick a dryer sheet in your sneakers ... they dont get so nasty. plus the gym bag keeps a little fresher (I stick on in the bottom of that too). probably not such a big deal since you have a billion pairs of shoes though! heh
I started losing weight then realised I don't like being skinny I love how I am so now I've started training like a strong man and am enjoying it so much, only problem is I can't afford to eat like them, good thing I've already got excess fat hahaha
It's crazy to think that I've been following you for over 2 years! Before your viral loose skin videos, wayy back, when you started the Feeding the beast series. It's crazy to see that you've come so far, I continue to watch, and you continue to impress
obesetobeast when you were losing weight what was the main things you were eating im currently trying to lose weight but ive only been eating fish, chicken and rice
I love how you have Faith in your videos cause when she gets older she can look back on these. That's so wonderful. You're such a positive influence on her. Im glad she has you.
i love the way crosfitters are so tight knit family type of comminities. But I feel like the amount of reps is just overwhelming... am i misunderstanding the entire concept? i stick to bodybuilding style lifting
AHHHH! JOHN! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I HOPE I MEET YOU ONE DAY, YOU INSPIRE ME TO BE A BETTER CROSSFITTER! I've lost 55lbs, was once just into the obese range, and am doing great now going from strength training to running and to now my all time love CROSSFIT! I went 6 days this week! XD I hope I can meet you in person one day, thank you so much for being an inspiration to thousands. Much love
Hey John!!! Awesome videos man, always so positive. So I just started my weight loss journey last week, and I have a question for you. I'm not sure if you've talked about this subject before, but if you haven't, I would greatly appreciate an answer. What's your opinion on workout videos like Insanity, P90x, and Body Beast?? I'm currently doing Insanity myself, and it's kicking my ass lol Keep up the great work!
Great video! I have the RxSmart Gear jump rope, too--best jump rope I've ever had. (Of course, mine's purple. 😜) Keep up the good work, John. You help and inspire us to keep pushing. Thank you!
I don't know if you ever gonna watch this, but thanks! Your channel was one of the main things that helped me to get back in shape. I played basketball and after a knee injury i stopped playing and gained like 70 pounds in two years... now i dropped 60 in the last 5 months ( im a big guy, I'm 6'6 with big body ) but since im approaching my weight im having some troubles to get that last pounds. If you have any advice for big guys, im all ears. Thanks again for your big help! A big fan!!
Just started my weight loss. Nothing crazy just trying to drop 20-30 lbs and get a little more fit. I was wondering if there's a high protein low fat food that I could get for cheap? Thanks.
Great video! Going to recommend my boyfriend about your channel as he's a Personal trainer and has recently started a channel himself! Please Check him out, Sam Vaughan PT 😊💪🏽
Try playing a sport. I think it'll help with the mobility issues. I know I used to feel stiffer and less agile during the offseason when I wasn't playing soccer and only lifting. Lifting can make people stiff thus the main reason professional athletes do sport specific lifting. Try it and see how your lifts feel in terms of mobility. I'd recommend playing any sport that requires a high level of athleticism, basketball, soccer, flag football, tennis etc.
Im tempted to get into crossfit, but I cant afford the classes as they are tooo expensive 😢 Luckily my gym has a cross fit area, well a bar and bumper plates. Is there any crossfit workouts i can do with just a bar? Also following from this how does your crossfit/bodybuilding split go? I am kinda tempted to do a push pull legs with a cross fit work after each, is this a decent idea?
She's adorable and I salute you my brother, I've been supporting your RU-vid channel and different suggestions hope everything you touch becomes a success and that your blessed beyond measure.
I just lost about a good 40 pounds after a huge cut and that was super hard. Now im focused bulking and gaining mass. What are some unique exercises I can add to my routine to work out some different muscles and get swoll.
I always carry 2 pairs, also sucks i have the iPhone 7 so i cant use any pair, and my friend sometimes forgets hers. Only thing in mt bag is gym clothes (pants sweater shirt gloves water) i also take my school bag so i have my gym clothes and other goodies. Also that thing you use to grab the bars looks like a finger guard uses for recurve bow shooting
John, it is suggested that a person should change shoes every six months. I just thought I'd mention that since you exercise much which brings the assumption that you sweat more than often. Sweat spoils your shoes. I had to do a presentation on athlete's foot in the seventh grade and the images I had to use were unforgettable. I'm just looking out for you. You look good.
soo...when you have leg days, do you have a set of 2 shoes&switch them in-between, or do you only wear the lifting shoes throughout the stay at the gym no matter what leg stuff you do?
