I have the beg to differ about hospital showers not being the cleanest. They're most definitely cleaner than any other shower, even at home as they are required to use hospital grade cleaners, and it's a hospital which each room is sanitized for a new patient.
@Melissa Farfalle I thought so too. For my first I'm just packing a nursing top, a regular top that I could breastfeed out of if I wanted to, a nursing bra, old sweats, and a old nursing gown. A couple pairs of socks- ones to go home in and then warm ones. Definately a towel just in case. A set of pjs/easy clothes for my bf so he at least has a change of underwear and socks and heavy on the amenities. I'll be bringing easy clothes for the baby such as a knotted nightgown which should fit a range of sizes.

Tara! I just very recently found your channel and I’ve been binge watching your vids ever since lol. I as well have 2 girls,1 four y/o and a 2 y/o. I am pregnant and my due date is June 21st except we’re waiting until birth to know the gender! I saw you mentioned in a vlog that you don’t remember feeling so worn out with your other 2 pregnancies. I am totally with you! Everything hurts and I am def ready for baby #3 to arrive 😊

It's so funny how people are scared of the hospital shower. Every inch of it is bleached between patients. Probably way more often than your home shower..... Definitely cleaner than a pool or water park where you put your bare feet in
Emily Lamb I agree. Hospital showers feel more like hotel showers and they are so clean! Bleached and thoroughly clean between patents and I know because my husband is a nurse. Maybe the hospitals in California are other wise. This is her first baby in Texas.

I just had our second baby, our first boy on the weekend, May 25th. I was hoping to get to see this video before I went into the hospital myself lol he didn't want to wait. I totally agree with you about the depends underwear!! They are so much comforting after labour because they really feel like they are holding up. The mesh shorts are great but you don't want things shifting when you're already sore. Wonderful video Tara!

Just to let you know this time you are going to regular hospital not the army one .. you can ask the hospital they will provide a lot of stuff.. my baby is 5 months but I really enjoyed your video .. I wish you have great birth and healthy baby

Amanda same here. I asked the nurses if I can take my own vitamins and they said no I have to only take what they give me. I asked if what I was taking was a prenatal vitamin and she just kept responding with, “it’s a multivitamin” in my head I’m like that doesn’t answer my question. I’m glad I’m going to be delivering in a better hospital this time around. 👍🏽
I have a scheduled c section June 17 but today I had a doctors appointment and my doctor said I’m measuring about 38 weeks and baby girl is very very low. She will check Monday June 3 to see if I’m dilated then she offered to strip my membranes if I wanted 😳. My sister in law had her membranes stripped and delivered the next day! Either way I’m so nervous! I bet you will have him by the second week in June! ❤️
I'm DUE JULY 7 2019 I had to ware leggings to hold everything up ,but it tummy is still healing so it was so uncomfortable . I'm sooooo gonna try the depends sixth baby later....our trays have mirror in them and they fold out & up check em out inside out.

Hi Tara, It looks like you have everything ready to go. I am going to say 39 weeks. My !little boy came a week early. He was my second child and I was so ready to have him. Honestly i find so many of the things you listed unnecessary. Not hating just an opinion of mine. I had a baby just a bit over 9 months ago. And i honestly only put an outfit for me, my baby, and my husband. Aside from that i packed diapers. And wipes. But ended up not even needing them. Because the hospital i gave birth at provided some for us. But aside from my little opinion, i love your videos. 😄😄❤
Mmm I just gave birth 4 days ago and I use to watch all these videos. Let me tell you what I used.....I robe. That was it! No snacks I needed. No extra pjs, socks nothing. Not even my makeup! All a waste. Literally just used the robe so no one would see my ass. And of course my toothbrush and body wash.

You are not the only one!! Everyone raved about the mesh panties and I couldn’t wear any of my cute pajamas or robe after birth because I bled through everything on those mesh panties. I got depends once I got home and this time I will be bringing them to the hospital with me!! I just felt disgusting bleeding everywhere
Why don’t you wear your wedding ring? Lol do you just wear your engagement ring? Or do you not wear either? 😆 and you are bringing sooo many things in the hospital bag....you’re only there for like 2 days lol. You’re not going to have time to even use all of it😂
Are the drops to stop the contractions completely or to ease the pain? I wouldn’t recommend taking those to prevent contractions because the uterus contracts to prevent post partum hemorrhage.
My hospital doesnt allow you to swaddle your baby. They used too but now they give you a sleep sack. If they see the baby swaddled they unwrap them and give you a safe sleep talk. Im suprised more hospitals haven't gone away with it.
Omg I hate the mesh undies!! I thought I was alone I think the same thing! Zero support and all the pads and ice packs sag down! I'm due July 13th with number 3 and plan to bring depends this time too! 😂
Hi, Tara, not sure if you’re aware but the disposable nursing pads you’re bringing in your hospital bag come in singles, so you’d need four rather than three for two pairs. Hope this makes sense.
This is probably a dumb question but do you have to insert a pad into the depends?? I’m giving birth to my fourth and have never used them but it’s a csection and I hate how the pads slip around..
I also gave birth on my husband’s birthday! It was not my due date, and we had things planned totally differently, but I ended having a C-section on his birthday. My husband was the first to hold our baby girl for 2 hours while I was getting out of my anesthesia... Now I can’t imagine things turning out better than this 😁
*You have some amazing essentials for the hospital here! One thing I wasn't prepared for with my son was the aftermath once I gave birth. The mesh underwear was the worst lol.* 💕💕
