I have the Fuji xt3 but I prefer the Fuji xe3 with the 23mm f2 for its portability and it’s excellent image quality. I feel like I’m under the radar when I’m on the streets with this combo.

@@kingelvis4688 I definitely agree as far as the 23mm f2 is concerned with most of my travel Photography. But for street Photography 35mm gives you a narrower view pushing your creativity in street photography
I have the same idea. Usually the XT-2, plus the 35mm f1.4 and the 23mm f1.4. I like the extra f-stops for stepping inside a pub or cafe and for shooting close-ups or portraits. If its raining, I ditch everything and just take the 23mm f2 WR.
I would recommend you trying the 16-80 f4 which is an awsome lens that I switched for my 16-55 f2.8 That I don't have anymore I agree with the 35 f2 That I own along a 16 f1.4 which the best lens of all time and not only on fuji and finally a great recommendation is the 55-200 which is another great lens
Hi Aaron, I have a very similar setup. The 35 mm is indeed great. I cannot recommend the 23 mm. The quality at short focal lengths is not as good as the other lenses. There are several RU-vid videos about this. The third lens is the 50 mm f/2. This is a really great lens! It is super sharp (same as the 35 mm) and it will give you a nice bokeh and a bit more range overall from 16-50 mm.
Talking nonsense or because you have heard someone on RU-vid. I have them both and the 23mm blows the 35mm out of the water. The only issue refers to minimal distance focus at f2 or f2. 8. The lens is pin sharp all over the frame.
still, the logo on your "hat" it's too huge...and because it's stays sideways, it's annoying :)) and i don't have OCD, the video in rest is useful and enjoy it
saw your comment at Roman Fox YT and headed to your channel! You got a new subscriber! 🤗 I have xt4 with 16-80 kit lens but traded it in with 35mm after 3 months. Nothing’s wrong with it. It’s just I really wanted to carry my camera every day. Having the 35mm now just did that! 🤗 I’d buy the 16-80 again or 16-55. I’m still confused. Now that I have the 35mm, I realized how I love the 16mm focal length. I would say though that the 16-80 for video is superb!

Having tried both the 16-55 and 16-80 I would recommend the 16-80 for its longer range lighter weight and better character of colors
Oh wow ! Of all the what in my camera bag video everyone is load with stuff (which made me wonder if they ever use every single gear 😅) but your loadouts is just like my setup too, I mostly use iPhone and gimbal and try to be less as possible. Especially when go hike or travel its way too much stuff to bring
I'm looking at getting a 16mm lens too for my Fuji. I've never quite shot with a true 24mm ff look. Is it very different to a 28mm look? I've been shooting on the Sigma 18-35 for 2+ years now, but it's big and long with an adapter on my XT4. I pretty much only use it when shooting video. Thinking of getting either a 16mm f/1.4 or the 90mm f/2 for street photography. I already have the 35mm f/2. I'm pretty introverted and most of my favourite street shots were at least 50mm ff.
Nice kit. My setup for street photography: Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L, Fujifilm X-Pro3, Fujifilm X-H1, Fujinon f2/2.8 lenses (16mm, 23mm, 35mm, 50mm), 7Artisans 35mm f1.2. The X-Pro3 I take mainly for daylight shooting. The X-H1 I take for evening or night shooting because of IBIS for slower handheld shutter speeds. I really try to pack minimal but somehow all my lenses always end up in my bag haha My most used lens is the 35mm f2 though.
It’s funny how that works, isn’t it? You pack everything for “just in case” and then leave it all in the bag except the one main one. Happens to me all the time! Sounds like a great set up!
It is one of my own making! I share more details on how I got to this point in a dedicated video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lskyqvsx868.html
Thanks for sharing your set-up. I used to use X-T2 with 23mm but recently I bought x100v to make it smaller. Haven’t tried for street yet due to lockdown but excited to try out soon!
Pretty much the same. May go with the xpro1 instead of my XT3. Definitely bringing my 35f2. My sneak my 90mm or my 60mm in my Think Tank Retrospective bag. Great video my man.
Really enjoyed the video! My kit is actually very similar to yours, although I keep mine separated into an APSC setup and full-frame setup. I also usually carry a 35mm film camera with a few rolls whenever I'm taking pictures. This is the first video I've watched from you btw, subscribed!
Fujifilm X10 for colour and a Ricoh 8.1 megapixel GR digital camera that I just picked up.Tiny and Stealthy. I use it with the adaptor, hood and uv filter for black and white. For film I use a Zorki 4k rangefinder camera with Ilford XP2 400 film. C41 process. I use the Ricoh mostly.
After switching back and forth between 35mm and 50mm equivalent I eventually settled in the middle. My go-to setup is an adapted 28mm 3.5 EBC Fujinon for M42 on the Fuji X-T1 and the 45mm 2.8 Carl Zeiss Tessar on the Yashica FX-3. Not exactly for street photography as that's not really my thing, but in general.
I didn't mention it in the video but I do adapt the Nikon 50mm every so often. I may explore some other vintage/adapting options. How do you like the 28mm?
@@imaaronross It's a phenomenal lens in my opinion, the best M42 screw mount lens I've used so far. And it's comparativly cheap if you consider what a 28mm Takumar would set you back. I'm really happy with that lens, otherwise I wouldn't be using it that often. The only downside is that it's pretty chunky with the adapter.
Nice kit! I use a Wotancraft Pilot 7L bag with my X-T20 and usually the 16mm 1.4, 23mm F2 and 35mm F2. That is too much choice for me sometimes so I do go out with just one occasionally. And sometimes I’ll grab my Viltrox 85mm.
It is my favorite beanie! It is from Still Company which was started by Adrian Ritchie. Check out her channel to see all of the BTS of building the company.
