I know the hours are different per state but I'm about to go in Florida and I'm doing the 1300 hour course which has advance make up and lashes while the 1200 hour course doesn't offer lashes or advance make up

Some schools don’t hand out makeup kits till you get to spa week and get to the makeup portion of the program but it is a new kit they are just starting to switch to from their old ones

Mine came INCLUDED in the tuition. I know some girls in my class had an iPad but had to get the new one. They make you download the apps but I’m pretty sure you still have to get the new one. Either way you can sell it after you’re done!

Oh no! In KY (where I'm currently at) is 1500 but in FL (where I'm moving to) is 1200, or 1300 to also become a MUA and Lash Extension Tech.

Karina Pérez my contract doesn’t say what all it provides but the kit costs 1.4k in itself and I doubt they’re just Calculating the prices for the everything that was in your kit except an iPad like it shouldn’t cost that much , ya know ? But I don’t know , I toured the campus in 2018 (I’m going to the Paul Mitchell of Arlington ) and they said they gave the iPads to students so it’s weirding me out how they quote on quote aren’t doing that anymore Especially when most of the classes are gonna be held online due to the pandemic

@@Uwchanii really? I've been talking to the lady's in the school in Carrolton Tx they haven't mentioned iPads either.

I didn’t get ANY financial aid😭 just loans so that’s what I’m doing & im turning 26 in 2 weeks! It’s never too late to start what you love!! Good luck tho 🙌🏽

@@KarinaReyes Awww thanks for responding, im going to get loans too if i don't get approves because i have to do this for me and nothing is stopping me lol Time flies so fast and i have always been just taking care of my kiddos and helping people here in there in what i can, but now im thinking about me.
