Can I get the cam knee guards. My Passau’s are gettin old. I have a jiggy fly so I need a big knee guard. Thx bud. You’re digging Pekkas old stinky stuff. No worries I have a pair of Condon Bauer Habs pants. 👍🏾
I think they still make that style knee guard but it’s a little different than the ones I have. And you gotta love a good (slightly stinky) pro return piece
first time I see a lighter, that's a good idea and I think i need a pair of peggs 'cause I do have two pairs of metal ones. that bag is sick...is it expensive I reckon?
Bag is a definitely a little pricey but with all the awesome features and the overall quality I know it'll be a very long time before I have to consider replacing it. And I HIGHLY recommend getting your own pegs. The metal ones just pop off too much when I try to seal the post.
Awesome video man! The bag looks absolutely incredible. I love how much storage you get with it. I’ll definitely be adding a lighter to my bag it’s a great idea 👍
Great video Dustin! I really like your hack for using smaller socks to help hold your knee guards in place. That's a good tip. That was an epic "in the bag video"! Not to many of us packing around hand me down pro gear. Pretty awesome! Loved watching this. Great job putting it together!
@@BonesyTV how long have you had your True one piece skates? I have a pair of Juuse Saros' skates from a few seasons back and the steel holder is chipping and I'm getting blade chatter. Sent them to True to have them repaired and it worked for awhile, but started happening again. Just curious if you had similar problems? Thanks!
I’ve had these Rinne ones for a little over a year now and then I had my own for about two years before that. Chatter has been a reoccurring thing and I’ve had to change my hollow a few times to find the perfect cut and these Rinne ones have definitely seen better days. But they still perform perfect and considering they’ve seen a ton of ice I’m happy with how they’re doing still.
Yeah... I'm gonna need that bag!! So much organization... I love it!! Tons of great stuff in this vid!! I'll be adding a small bag of helmet parts and a lighter to my bag... so smart!! Also, doing it in a locker room... great choice. I'll have to do the same for my next in the bag vid!! Thanks for sharing this!!
Honest bro I catch myself watching guys play rec league hockey.. lol so dont be to hard on yourself people will watch!!. If you have the time I know Id enjoy seeing your daily gym/ice time sessions etc. Not sure if its cool to mention other guys but like Trav4 does.
Great video!! I have never seen that bag before, it's really cool and I love the features. I would definitely love to see a 6 month review of the Lefevre gear and a review of your skates. Quick question on the straps for the backplate on your mask - are those stock? Or some sort of mod that allows the whole backplate to be exposed instead of covered by straps? Thanks Dustin.
Nope! Nothing too fancy. Just a Nash open harness: www.goaliemonkey.com/accessories/helmet-accessories/replacement-straps-loops/nash-goalie-accessories-5-outside-straps.html
Just came across your goalie channel. Great Stuff! A quick tip/money saver.... I repair my goalie sticks with a product called FiberFix, a wrap that hardens really solid. I use the fixed sticks for practice, and of course my good sticks for game play. Reasonably inexpensive, and extends the life of the goal sticks.
If I'm not mistaken these are from a company in Finland. These have the two spikes in them and I like this design better than the three spike in other pegs. Here's a link: anchorpegs.ca/collections/all
A 6 month review would be fantastic! I’m mostly curious to hear how the transition has been from the EFlex line to the 20.1s. What’s been beneficial about going to a stiffer core from the knee down? What are the drawbacks, if any? And obviously wouldn’t expect you to get this specific in a video, but do you think the 20.1 is still suited to a smaller (I’m 5’10”) goaltender who plays fairly aggressive positionally but still tries to have a relatively quiet and fundamental game? I’m sure the EFlex line would be fine but I still want those lively rebounds.
Perfect! Really like specific questions. I can definitely try to touch on all of that. And I'd say the 20.1 would work pretty well for your style of play. But hopefully a 6mo review will help answer that for you.
@@BonesyTV well besides of an over all review, I'll like to know how the set is holding up, if you feel it will need replacement soon or it can last for another season or two. Also how was the transition from your old gear and if you'll stick to Lefevre or will be tasting other gear? thanks man!
