What's in the Box Ep. 3 (Walrus Lore, Red Panda Particle 2) 

I am a bottle of wine and 4 beers deep so take what I say with a grain of salt but as a guitar player this podcast is hella fun, just like hanging out with your friends and jamming 😊

Okay, because it has happened on several episodes, can we please get a "Is This Jazz?" stinger!?

This episode felt like Josh opening gifts on Christmas morning but the label was wrong, so he has to begrudgingly give the gifts to his younger sibling.

Best line of the whole episode, "Is this jazz"? 😄😄😄

I'm going to ask myself "Is this Jazz?" for all of my life choices moving forward.

The band Low uses that Red Panda to wild effect in their last few albums. Total guitar destruction -- and I wish I was rich enough to afford one.

Fireballs are also my favorite candy! The rest of the Ferrara Pan jawbreakers are also amazing. Sweetwater rules. And the Lore is breathtaking. Bravo, Walrus! And bravo, Red Panda! I have the Bitmap V2, which is the greatest bit crusher out there, and can’t wait to pick up some more of their pieces. What a fun, wallet-draining episode today. Thanks, JHS!

Without having used the Red Panda Particle before, Josh gets better sounds from it out of the box than I've heard in any other demo for this pedal.

That loop Josh found for the first Particle jam is reminiscent of the B section of Battles' "Fort Greene Park" (Ian Williams, the guitarist, of Battles, is confirmed to use that pedal); the Josh jam went a different way, but enjoyable nonetheless. The Red Panda exploration was great, and from one living manual to another, keep reading tech specs proud and out loud, Joshua.

BITD we’d flip the tape play the tape backwards and print a revere send back to tape, so when put back, you get the reverb trail first then the original guitar sound

...and on a different note, as you know, your JHS mini AB box pedal is a 1 in 2 out. Can I flip so as to run/switch between two guitars or must I convert it internally to do so. Already have ABY's not looking for more of those. Or do you/can you make a mini 2 in 1 out? Do you know of one made other than the one we can't get (difficult to) from Australia?
