After so long doing the videos I've got better at filming, sound, lighting, not leaving random pauses (The original was much longer than it needed to be), additional music and everything else. So as I recently picked up a very good condition complete copy I though I would just redo this one video, and it makes a slightly better intro to the channel, enjoy!
EDIT: The dice are D12s, not D6s, I missed this and now need to find a way to alter this part!

Just got a copy of this gem of a game in great condition a few weeks ago. Found it in a small 2nd hand video game store. I think the guys there didn't even know what they were selling. Best 40 Euros I've ever spent. 😂 Having a blast playing this. Hands down my favorite dungeon crawler.

Late to the AHQ party but it's quickly become my favorite crawler. I hits the right spot between simplicity, depth, exploration, combat, random events etc. There's a wealth of fan content, remastered rulebooks etc. It's just such a joy discovering this game that I missed out on when it came out.

I know what you mean, I think I must have spent years looking at the rulebook before actually braving to read it and wondering why it took me so long! I know there's a remastered 1.5 ruleset somewhere, I've got plans for a string of videos to cover all the official content, then I'm going to go through all the fan made stuff, but there's definitely plenty of that!

It does definitely come with alot more options! Although I do like seeing where they're heading with the original game in all the newer expansions. Eventually I'll get around to some more videos with this set 🙂

Good stuff, it's a great game, but does need the Terror in the Dark book to work properly.

I do agree! I've got a rules list put together which includes the additions from Terror In The Dark. Helps with many issues although I did still end up having to browse FAQs or just decide how I think rulings should be haha

Just one thing you need to correct those dice look like d12's not d6's

Yea I missed that error annoyingly in a rush. I've added some specific text to the video now which I hope pops up, can't edit it anymore unless I just drop out the sound haha. My reasoning (excuse) is that at the time I was just playing Counter Attack with uses D6s but on a D12 that gives a nice ball feel to them)

So your editing skills still need some work. Like when you hold up two dice and call them D6? The dice you held up appeared to be 10 sided dice, so what is the deal? D10 are provided with the kit or D6? Of less concern was you holding up (four) Skaven with swords stating that each group of four had different weapons. But you had five figures in your hand, one of which may or may not have been a Skaven. Having said all that, I have to admit the production quality itself was pretty good. An engaging voice and on point with the subject matter, above comments not withstanding. No glare or reflections and none of that fuzzy image as you hold pieces up to the camera.

Thanks for the feedback comments, it helps for the future! Most of the editing skills I worked on was sorting out bits like empty boring parts of videos, and sound lighting etc, so it's better than previous. However yea the post edit on this probably wasn't the best, but I'll be perfectly honest, I had a trip away so time was short and I rushed it. Normally if I catch these things I will reshoot/ voice over, or at least add a subtitle, I'll have to see if I can do that via RU-vid itself now it's uploaded. To answer the points I was wrong on though, the game comes with two D12, not D6 (my claim for the error was my recent plays of Counter Attack where it uses D12 as D6 to make them more ball like), and I was meaning to say you get 4 models holding each weapon, basically you get 4 identical sprues each holding 5 skaven and 3 henchmen with different weapons so you end with 20 skaven, 5 different weapons, 4 of each, and 12 henchmen, 3 different weapons and 4 of each. The other thing could be because I picked uo a Skaven with a different colour base, that was how you could mark the special Skaven if you only had the base game. Hope that clears up my errors and again thanks for watching and taking the time for feedback!
