@@AlynWallace wait hold on, another comet this year !?! I Couldn't get a pic of Neowise because i didn't have a phone then and my parents weren't home :/ but Leonard is my hope for this year ! (oh btw i did see Neowise and it was pretty)
I’m just getting into astrophotography, and I totally appreciate these types of videos, there’s so many subjects in the night sky, it’s good to know what’s coming up!
I packed my imaging gear away for a few weeks due to astronomical twilight, but now thanks to you Alyn it’s coming back out for the globular cluster. Might go for some NLCs too. You always refresh my motivation to get out there.
Can’t wait for be timelapsing NLC’s again, hoping to capture more of them above the skyline this time 👍🏻Congrats Phil for the first NLC’s of the season
Excellent MOST Excellent!! One thing noticed also is the moon is not in the sky during the night for the entire weeks before the new moon. And down in the 30 degree area a MW arch is available at around 11pm great of a cloud free night comes before. And to the S to SW for the early risers it is time for the Vertical MW and a overhead pano horizon to horizon if you dare. But a location between things. Alyn I have also noticed the MW core is smaller in portrait orientation with a ultra wide like 12 or 14 looking further away so you get more landscape, I noticed when doing portrait orientation panos of a arch MW. And no pincushion distortion (on lower quality lenses, elongated stars) in the upper corners also. Thank You so much for your monthly Night Sky!!!
Hello, Mr. Wallace; Thank you for all you do. Nice haircut, I approve. [Not that anyone needs my approval.] I'm not a photog but I just came in from checking the southern view. I enjoy amateur astronomy so I appreciate your monthly "What's in the Night Sky". I particularly enjoy clusters & your info RE: same. Please keep up the good job. Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!
fantastic Video Man, love it, Useful As Always!! Looks Like June is A Promising Month, But Quite Cloudly lately, I will try to catch The Star Clusters and Conjuction!!👍🌌
It is nice that Mars will be so close to the beehive cluster.. but unless you are on the top of the mountain, it will be far too low to get a proper / clean image, looks like it's less than 20° altitude.. btw, a possible nice addition to those video would be to activate the grid to get those kind of details :)
Dude same here! I saw it two nights ago on a very clear night right in my backyard! The satellites actually light up in a dimmable fashion. It did not appear in a train style with all the lights on but more like the lights dim on one at a time. How did you experience your starlink satellites? Did they turn on and off too?
@@supercoolmunkeeWhen i saw them they were in straight line and all with lights. I don't really remember how they gone but i think they just disappered. Once i saw them towards the north and once towards south. To me this is kinda weird.
31/05/2121 THANK YOU for such an interesting vlog. I have always been interested in our solar system and your information has given me the most in one session. I do not have any equipment to check things out and wonder what you would recommend as a starting point? Cheers from the land of Oz.
Alyn i am just having a bit of light hearted banter here...My goodness me you look about 5 years old since the new haircut mate!! What happened!? haha! Great vid as always my friend! Thanks! Wes, Liverpool, UK.
You missed an opportunity to point out how noctilucent clouds once shimmered like gasoline floating on a pond because of petrol, paint and solvents that floated up to extreme heights. New clean air regulations in the 80's and 90s, such as vapor recovery systems on automobiles, cleaned them up considerably. Clean air laws do work and work well.
I saw in stellarium Mobile about lenoid comet it is shown two comet at the same time 😳 it is true ??? . And the two comet name also is lenoid ( Check in this date December 2021 27 ) and zoom in to So closely ( Check in mobile )
@@AlynWallace I see at 4:45 of your video there is a time in the corner. If Photopills doesn't work, what program do you use with this time so I can check for my location? Thanks!
