VariedVids Never ever thought I would see Evanston mentioned in any youtube comments. Thats my dads home town. I visit it like 4 times a year and just about noone knows about except people who live there. Next time I go there Ill have to try and find some marriage records lol.
Moonstruck Exploring I married a Mormon woman. Well, now she's an ex-Mormon woman, now. The only "bad" thing about it is, well, nothing. She gives it up on demand, doesn't want 10,000 kids, and brings me a beer when asked. It's a really hellish life.
pecan baby 3107 for me it is intense...lol. makes me cringe and also makes me feel nauseated when he goes up to them super high places. I literally sit here screamjng at the video...."noooo please dont go that high, pleeease!"
jeff fiedler, Thank you for the info, I love it when I can learn something new. I was wondering what the vents were about, now I will always know when I come across something like that. 🙂👍👍
Thank you ar15rich, I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I have been able to learn a lot from viewers like you taking the time to leave a comment with helpful information. 🙂
I have watched all of your videos and enjoy them very much!! Thanks for spending the time to have fun and share it with the rest of us. And, Oh Boy, those were some of the WORST weld joints I have ever seen on that explosives storage box!! ;-)
Veronica Morgan Thank you, I love seeing the wild mustangs! We have so many out here, but it never gets old. Make you feel like your back in the wild west. 🙂
OMGosh! I would love to have that crusher, and that safe is incredible. Was made so long ago, and you can see on the where someone welded a plate to the top. I really can't get over that crusher. I have one I made, and one I baught. There very expensive, and that crusher could easily be put back to work. Have you checked out that app Back Country Navigator? It shows every mine, and prospect, and you don't need internet. Great video
Hi guys, been watching your channel for a few days now, and because it's so different, that's what makes it so interesting.Your drone footage is brilliant and really gives you an idea how special some of your destinations can be.Its like a real life investigation channel, thumbs up to you both!!!!.
It looks to me as though the back wall of the "safe" is made of plywood. If that's true, then I think you found an old powder magazine, for the storage of explosives. Also, it looks to be welded up out of an old steam locomotive tender. Keep up the good work.
Bees become lethargic below 45 degrees. I doubt they are a threat below freezing. I live in the snow belt, never seen active bees at these temps at this time of year.
Every single track i have detected, which lead to a mineshaft or digging, had some gold nuggets spread onto it. You might want to try detecting that old track ;)
wow, what amazes me is how far people went to start a gold mine, how the heck did they know where to go, and how the heck did they get stuff to build houses etc on those looooooooong bumpy roads, its mind boggling
Currently have over 6,000 places just in one state to explore, and I haven't even started researching other areas. I also haven't yet found all the places in this state to explore. So I think it's going to be a long time before I run out of places to explore. 🙂👍👍
Tim Riley there's a whole world out there full of places to explore and things to see, maybe check it out sometime... I'll give you the address, it's; World Avenue Lane Universe :)
If you don't like it, why are you watching it then. First I am accused of fancying this guy by smooth ride now don wan is on my case. What the heck is wrong with you people. 😕
I agree with you guys he does the best videos of all the people who do explore abandon places. I don't believe anyone else comes close to him. Makes everything so interesting. ☺
I live in the Nevada Desert and get to see wild horses every time my dog Howdy and I go out exploring. "Out in the middle of nowhere" is the only way to live. Your videos are awesome, I feel like I'm right out there with you. thanks for sharing.
Love watching these clips..as for these houses found in remote places..wonder if some of these old time prospectors found small gold deposits..enough to work by hand, and lived off their work? They would prefer to be alone, so as not to attract claim jumpers-and probably travelled to out of state banks to deposit their gold. It would explain why there are so many of these abandoned houses.
Great shot using the drone, it really gives you a 3D view of the surrounding area and gives you FA/Forward Advanced knowledge of the terrain. From it's view I counted 3 separate mining tunnel areas. As for the safe, they wouldn't keep their GOLD in there I can assure you. That was most likely used to keep powder/dynamite and fuse and/or primer caps though many old time miners would use small tunnels in a hill with a locking door frame in front of it. It could have also housed expensive tools like hydraulic jackhammers etc. that are too heavy to load up and unload every time you go out there and there's no where the miners could keep that expensive equipment safe from thieves out there. This way the thieves would have to have a forklift, crane or a specialized wrecker/tow truck with a dolly to steal them as they'd have to take the safe with them to get the equipment. Great video guys, thanks again! If you come to AZ to explore anything mining I'd be happy to accompany you to give more possible insight on exactly what you're looking at. I also have an old 4WD Blazer for the easy trails like those out to my mining operation and a higher sitting Trailblazer with serious traction tires for the more difficult ones so you'd have someone to help pull your 2WD out if you don't have a 2nd 4WD vehicle along. Thanks again for the great video!
The stuff out there always reminds me of the hills have eyes. Like why were those random trailers out there? Way out where its inconvenient to do anything except maybe be a rancher. Its scary but so interesting. Lol great video.
as usual... lots of phone issues. I have to agree with one of your followers... yours is the only subscription that seems reputable. I really missed watching. as for the Mormon comments.... not my style but to each their own. be careful.... especially if you run into anymore army rations. Hope to "officially" meet you all some day. stay safe
Good vid...hoping you return to the cars in the dried up stream. Would like to see you check the glove compartments for paperwork or any other kind of evidence of ownership.
Considering how far you go out, and the areas you go to, do you go out armed? I mean, that's prime mountain lion country, and it sounds like you're all alone in this one. I mean, I'd be out there with my .44 on my hip and a rifle on my back.
What would be really cool, is if you checked with the state and found out who staked the claim, what they were mining, find the claimant and interview them about what went on there and why they abandonded it.
Thank you Sir, for posting these awesome Videos. I can't get enough! What I also find very pleasing, is the respect you apply to these places! Very nice and I look forward to many more, exciting explorations. Greetings from Germany.
I've noticed your videos are getting shorter. Not as much detail as in earlier ones........what's going on? I so miss the longer ones! 😢😢 as always I look forward to the next one, you go to places I wish I could go. (Hard to get anywhere without transportation) . Hope this note finds you well! Keep up the exploration, so much not yet discovered!
I’m back to a year and a half posts. Fun😊😊ewu crew So many subscribers. Excellent good job ethic. If it’s just a hobby, it’s good times for crew. Wow a yr and a half. And Emma 😍she’s so fun. I am on all your oldies. Coffee +Oweee =so plentiful Utube time👏👏👏
Man that safe was cool. It brought back memories of an old building I use to work in. When the owner sold the building, he showed me two very old safes that where hidden in the walls. I worked in that building for 11 years and never knew there was a hidden door until days before it was closed for good.
I miss seeing the wild burros and horses here in NV. They used to be fairly common to see but the BLM has made it where it's very rare to see either one unless you are way, way out in the middle of nowhere. :-/
those boots were left by some one whoever went inside never came out.. ooh oh sounds spooky? its lovely to see the blue sky and the hills. so i guess no more snow over there? lucky you. anyways have to say great video as always. I always enjoy your videos.. take care and keep them coming
How do you find all these places? I would love to do some exploring like this someday. I saw one of your comments down the list and you mentioned there are over 6,000 places to search. Do you just google search for abandoned places? Love the videos by the way! I just saw your guys yesterday for the first time and grabbed my attention pretty quickly!
Have you ever headed up twords Lida, NV up through fish lake valley, or Beatty NV? They have a shit ton of mines but most of them are on private property not all but some. Even Yosemite during the summer had some crazy shit I’d like to see you do videos on :)))
This has become my addiction love supporting fellow natives. I'll be at work looking at clock saying I need get home & explore ! LOL u guys rock stay safe^
I just love them horseys running. What a great video the picture was like I wanted to climb into my tv & touch the sand. Mad! & no I'm not on drugs before the trolls start insinuating.
