Really enjoyed your reviews. I agree that Bite is Altered Images best album. I only listened to Spandau Ballets singles. I might check True out after this.
Thanks Joseph! I really don't understand why so many people overlook 'Bite'...it is a great album! A lot of people slag it off for its change in sound, but i think it suits them. Yes, you should give 'True' a listen. They had 4 really good singles from that LP, and there is only 8 tracks in total...so its basically like listening to the singles and their b-sides.
I would highly recommend the album True. I brought it in August 1983 and it just blew me away. So much so, I’m celebrating 40 years as a die hard Spandau fan this year. In my opinion, 1 or 2 of the album tracks could easily have been released as singles.
