I find that the best way to keep your chalk bag tidy is to keep it inside a small plastic shopping bag. That way the chalk never goes everywhere, regardless of what type of chalk bag you use. Simple, tidy and hassle free.
My first upgrade shoe was the Katana and its sooo good. The support. The comfort. So good. 2nd upgrade shoe was the Instinct VS. Nothing but pain. Nothing but SENDS! Haha. Better for bouldering in ways i couldn’t comprehend before. Still use both, still love both. They have their purposes :)
mines a stringpull with a Valley stringpull chalkbag, Tarantulaces from La Sportiva, and my climbing journal. I use ultra fine chalk from Salty Lance. stuff comes in a 3lb bucket packed to the rim for $20.
I must be weird. I use a plastic Ziploc bag to keep my chalk bag from making a mess in transit. If a cop pulls me over, it keeps them from thinking I'm a coke dealer.
I wish that at some point you guys would review the scarpa furia air. I got them and sized down 1 size (street shoe 41 got the furia in size 40...tried 39.5 but it was excruciating) and they literally feel like extensions of your feet. I’ve never felt anything that allows you to feel like you’re climbing barefoot but with support (hope that makes sense), but if you try them it will change your life. Oh and the sizing thing, when I tried the 39.5 I noticed that my foot actually pushed the rand over the side of the shoe and effectively changed its shape (Heinz recommends against doing that) so that’s why I went back up to the 40. But yeah, maybe a future gear review?
@@dailyclimbing Wondering about the Vegan label of these brushes, because afaik they seem to use boar bristles.. Is there any further info about this matter?
Those breathable shirts get stank way too quickly! Dirty hippie girls love it and crowd around me like all those dang flies but it’s really hindering my ability to impress yoga pants when I’m working on the pink V3 (V13 in your gym) in the corner.
A bit disappointed with the video guys, feel like your chalk bags should probably be a bouldering bucket if the title is apt. A bouldering bag has plenty of other things that you wouldn't use on sport: beer towel for example, set of brushes in different sizes. Maybe try this again with an actual bouldering bag?
