Awesome tear down and review. Hope you can get the 7hz Legato for a look inside. That’s the one that I’m interested in. I told a chance on the ea500, and love it. I’m not a bass head, but the Legato is different for my collection. I’m just worried about the drivers. Thanks for this great info!
Have you ever done a teardown of the EA1000 by any chance? I’m looking for ways to increase bass a bit without sacrificing clarity or bass quality and I’m getting different suggestions from foam to mesh so if you have any input, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Nice video! I am rocking them with Y1 filter on the front vent and AZLA Sedna light tips. I wonder what type of filter that is on the inside of that front driver vent. May be replacing it with a denser one, will eliminate the need to place the filter on the outside of the shell. Do you heat up the shell to open it without damaging?
Hello, may I ask? I have tried Shui Yueyu's aria, aria se and kato. I chose se. I think kato's bass is too heavy, although the mids and highs are obviously better. The price and CP value are not higher than se for me. Maybe I don't. I am used to choosing my first headphones. I prefer low frequencies, not too heavy, not loud, mid-treble, multiple voices, close to the vocals, louder than instruments. If I mainly listen to tiktok, light pop music, which one would I recommend more? Or do I prefer this one? Can I use a tuning tube to change it to se and occasionally to kato bass?
that damoener on the driver hole did you add that? ive seen people modding these by puttin micropore tape inside that hole, is the hole originally empty, is there a risk to damage anything?
@@bestcocbaseswithlink5069 give me some time to AB and I’ll get back to you ^-^ Also I think the Hola is probably the better choice for you (if you like that type of warm/balanced tune). Plus Truthear announced their 1 year return/replacement policy on their instagram for any reason which can save you lots of money if anything happens. :)
I call this the poor man’s Kato with better high end. it’s half the price. It’s the best IEM I’ve heard in awhile. Now is the time to buy it. Best under a $100. My opinion is you wouldn’t find anything better. If you live in a third world country, it’s like me spending up to $200.
