That'd true sir Calvin, we as Filipinos are easy to talk with because we respect and welcome foreigners and defend them too... Thanks for the video, so amazing 😊❤️
Oh yeah! I like your videos, i agree with the Philippines is beautiful country and vibrant as well. Keep it up and you'll do it over and over again. Good luck! ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing interview,Thank you to latin guys for their point of view of my country Phil, becoz of your channel So.happy to watch they love en embrace our culture. Wish en pray your alll i safe situation.SalamatAmigos😊watching frm Hongkong❤
Well, to be honest, it's not only in Philippines but globally, most prices of goods really increased. Some of it by inflation, while others are the after effects of pandemic. I think Venezuela has one of the worst inflation rate in the world right now, forcing most of its people to flee in neighboring countries. Well, lucky are those who are priviledge enough to travel & live somewhere better & start a new life.
The first guy live in BGC, the most expensive Place in the Philippines and he expect the meal there to cost 2 dollars. 😅. When they said Philippines is cheap they meant 95% of the Philippines which is not BGC or Makati. Also thats why the people there is not friendly is also because he lives in BGC most people living there are rich or middleclass. And you know well off people are snubs.
It's not a Hispanic country you guys don't speak Spanish just because 3% speak Spanish doesn't mean anything it's like calling Jamaicans British or Anglo because Britain ruled over them
depends on the neighborhood. In BGC is really expensive or in Makati, but if you find your way to quezon city for example everything if not cheap is fair.
Nah these peeps have to go outside bgc to experience the latin vibe at the reality check that they have travelled across seas to just feel like back at home.
The only thing Zamboanga, a province located southeast of the country speaks Chavacano dialect, which is similar to Spanish but has Tagalog/Cebuano loan words. Zamboanga is the Latin America of Asia.
Hi Calvin , thank you for doing a great job for asking a question to the foreigners about how They feel living here in Philippines ,, watching in Taiwan 🇹🇼 ,,I’m pilipina
That venezolano guy from the start, he seems to be a rich kid able to afford BGC and speak confident english. I'm so glad he landed in Philippines. In his beautiful country i just watched a teacher earning 15$ a month because of havoc going on in there and most have to cross the Darien gap.
One can still buy a cheap meal under $2 here in the Philippines. Just go to a "carinderia" (a kind of small store with lots of different local foods). The guy from Venezuela lives in the high end area that is why everything is really, really expensive😅. If he just stay near the BGC,living will be much cheaper for him. 🙂
BGC - Bonifacio Global City Formerly FORT McKINLEY a US Military Army Base Became FORT BONIFACIO, a Philippine military base after it was turned over to the Philippine government.
For the 1st man who interviewed...I believe pilipino snacks still cheap I'm here in Hongkong now and price is increasing... McDonald's here the cheapest price is 42hkd..and in Philippines lowest price is 180peso or 200 I think.. Greenwich still have price 150 peso ...
Buddy, my meal in Philippines in eateries are from .75 to less than 2 dollars a meal. Do Not refer the Fancy restaurant prices. And BGC is comparable to Singapore for its 1st world lifestyle. So again, a 2 dollar meal is already expensive for me as an Upper middle class Filipino. So take note on which restaurant u go to.
Lol they're not if someone says you look Mexican is more than likely they mean you look indigenous Mexican because Mexican isn't a race and indigenous Mexicans look Asian
The $2 meals is not fake news of course u can’t see $2 meals if u choose to walk in a luxurious restaurant… i myself live on an island were everything is more expensive but i live of $1 every meal and that’s already expensive meal for us bc there’s so much we can buy for a $1
In my opinion, generally, Calvin ignores the answers of his interviewees and doesn't build rapport. He skips them by asking another question and doesn't indulge further with the interviewee's previous answer. I just find it awkward and hilarious at the same time. It seems like he's always in a hurry haha.
It is interesting how the second Mexican guy says the totally opposite of the venezuelan who complaints about people not being open and funny.. maybe it has something to do with him, I don´t know I am not judging lol
Maybe because of the community in BGC, people really just mind their own business there. So you really need a community that you prefer or at least a group.
@@noelramirez1551in the time of Spanish Filipino we where all citizen of Spain and that's also one of the reason why they needed to be taxed for building roads universidad churches etc.
I think the first guy or the white shirt guy been around the wrong people, or maybe he just hang around business district so much where people are sometimes much conservative a lot of people are kinda introverted. Filipinos are happy people generally, always laughing, always joking, even in tough times, so I guess he hang around people who are much introverted. And the cheaper food or things that he says, its depend on some places, go outside BGC in some EMBO barangays and things start to get cheaper, especially outside Manila.
Ph people are gentle so don’t approach us so excitedly or on hype because that will scare us 😂 we think u are being weird and u are too much to handle so we will avoid u 😅 simple smile and greetings are the best.
ACtually in the PHilippines, ypu will find Filipinas(the marrying type) on cafes and meeting with close friends. Not in bars. in Bars, majority of filipinas that go there just wanna have fun. and for short term relationships
I aggree with the guy from Venezuela, BGC is expensive place to live and the good things is safe in BGC, and I heard that you can't bribe the security, and police there most of them are law abiding citizen.i wish I could live there 😅👍 good job Calvin your doing great.
How are the police in Quezon city? I just saw a video of white tourist j walking by accident in QC and it looked like officer was trying to get bribe and was asking him what he was doing in ph
3:47 hahaha he probably thought, “actually you don’t need much game” but stopped himself and thought about the repercussions hahaha but if you’re a foreigner there, it really is easy for anyone to take interest in you. In America we treat tourist with disdain and hate, when they’re just people like us who want to travel too. Maybe jealousy?
Philippines is not the land of opportunity for foreigners to invest or settle Foreigners can't own lands & full business ownership in PH (the 60/40 Filipino first policy) Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family which is not the case of most foreigners They say that "Its more fun in the Philippines" its true for rich Filipinos only
Having fun does not require money. It's about how you deal with things with positivity and optimism. Only materialistic people feels unhappy without money. Pity on them.
Ah that's why your meal is so expensive and your rent for your space,,cause your in BGC go to Cebu they're are so many cheap rent and food there,, Cebu is Philippines also don't generalized manila as a Philippines there's a lot of place in the country that have a cheap accommodation don't said that the Philippines is one of the most cheapest country and you said it's a lie.
