Grew up in Mira Mesa. Roughly 3 years ago I had to leave. My family and I were able to get a condo, but as everyone from the bay area moved down we had to just admit we would never be able to afford a home big enough to raise our kids near family. Many of our friends have left too. The attitude of the natives here are really negative toward all the wealthy people who are moving in, kicking us out, and putting up inclusive signs in their grass that make them feel better. It's pretty painful feeling replaced. Mira Mesa had been such a diverse place to grow up. We had our own local celebrities like Willie Santos. To this day I don't know a neighborhood like it. It still has a lot of that makeup but I don't think for so long. The new people who move in would rather spend their money at Sprouts than Vin Hung Supermarket. Wealth is coming in, but it came into the real estate, not to our community. It's a large reason why we just left America altogether. I wish we could have stayed. It's heartbreaking to even think about.
Danny, I appreciate your low-key, conversational style in your videos. It's like we're hanging out in these neighborhoods and you're giving all the pros and cons, rather than trying to be a comedian or whip up a frenzy by the camera jumping around and club music playing. Well done and keep the informational videos coming!

In 1972 when we moved from Windansea, Mira Mesa Blvd didn't even go all the way through to Sorrento Valley. Our hippie friends in La Jolla thought we had "gone off the deep end" and joined the establishment!
Danny, There needs to be more movement, more excitment, more action and less talking. Show us what some of the stores, restaurants, get a quick bite to eat, show some homes. I had to stop watching at 8:00 min. Check out other SD realtors Bern and Courney, Dan Parker, and Wesley.
Hey Alex, I appreciate your feedback! Right now, I'm working on training my new videographer/editor to improve the video quality and add the qualities mentioned.
