I agree with this guy. The Justice in this country is not fair. I agree with the death penalty in the right way. I know for myself I could not give the death sentence on circumstantial evidence. I would like to see the sentence given to pedophiles.
You can add human trafficking to that list. By all reason, those people are condemning their victims to a fate worse than death, so I feel that if you are caught transporting people like that you should be shot on sight. Even worse when it is children being trafficked. Those people should be sentenced to a slow and painful death. Obviously we can't actually do things like that, it would lower us to their level. But from a moral standpoint it's totally justified.
I'm British. We abolished it in the 60's. (Rightly so as there's no place for it in the 21st century in a 1st world country) and I can assure you we don't have vigilantes running around all over the place.
The USA is indeed a strange country where most of the serial killers see them getting old in prison system while some one commits one musrder is promptly executed.
One of the many problems with the death penalty is that it doesn't just punish a criminal. It also punishes their family -- their parents, their spouses, their children, none of whom were responsible for the death of the murder victim.
Have you thought that this is exactly what the victims and their families have endured? Most times they endured a painful death, but the criminal gets a nice little cocktail and off to sleep. It doesn't make it right by a long shot, there are no winners in this situation except, you guessed it, the government!!
I don't give a rats ass about all "them other ppl" who wine and cry when their relatives or whatever gets the death penalty and their often bad too being around these jerks. My sympathy goes to the poor relatives of the victums they so caliously torchered and murdered. These worthless ppl on death row deserve so much more punishment then they could ever get. Their families knew they were criminals sence their childhoods. We need to execute more garbage then we do!!!!!!!
25 or 6 to 4 Chicago Waiting for the break of day Searching for something to say Flashing lights against the sky Giving up, I close my eyes Sitting cross-legged on the floor 25 or 6 to 4 Staring blindly into space Getting up to splash my face Wanting just to stay awake Wondering how much I can take Should I try to do some more 25 or 6 to 4 Oh yeah Feeling like I ought to sleep Spinning room is sinking deep Searching for something to say Waiting for the break of day 25 or 6 to 4 25 or 6 to 4 Alright
Cold and calculating as it is all the formalities that go with this Dreadful task simply one 22 round to the back of the head works every time there's plenty of serial killers out there who would jump at the chance to do the dirty deed
I believe they should pin up photos of these people's crimes , on the wall , behind the accused , pictures of a baby's vaginal , anus tore to pieces , then say you feel sorry for the animal
He dosent agree with the death penalty but if someone killed one of his loved ones he would want to see them put to death. You cant have it both ways. I think the vast majority of people would want the death penalty administered if it was their loved ones murdered. Remember there is always a victim and their family behind someone on death row.
I wouldn't want them put to to death. If they were really guilty, being imprisoned for your whole life is a bigger punishment. That's probably the ultimate psychological torture.
Judging by his explanation, it seems like he's against it mostly because it's so inconsistently applied and, let's be honest, it's not unknown for innocent people to get executed. Which is an entirely fair view. I feel much the same way but if you could find a way to guarantee me the person did what they were convicted of, I'd probably be fine with it.
I don't think that's something that ever leaves the mind of anyone seriously thinking their position on this through. But implementing a law like this will always be messy. According to data from PNAS more than 4% of people on death row are innocent. And double standards apply to the wealthy and socio-economically disenfranchised people, as is the case everywhere in the US justice system. Even if the death penalty was implemented in a completely fair way and wrongful executions could reliably be avoided, i still would personally be apposed to it because i fundamentally disagree with the notion of retributive justice.
I , TOTALLY AGREE WITH HIM , NOT ONLY IS THE ⚖️ JUSTICE SYSTEM FLAWED , BUT AS POWERFUL AND DEADLY AS THE METHODS ARE .... THEY HAVEN'T DETERRED A SINGLE 💧 DROP OF CRIME , AND IF ANYTHING , THINGS ARE MUCH MUCH WORSE .
