About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RU-vid channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

In the store for 2 seconds and Mikey's squealing - "RJ, This is what I want!!!" like a little kid as RJ has the look of a parent on his face like ... do we even have room for anything else at the house? This made my morning get off to a happy start. Thanks guys.

Haha true! Although, RJ and I have made an oath to each other to only get animals slowly. We want each member of our animal family to settle in nicely and blend with our lifestyle/us with theirs before we get others. It's the right thing to do and I'm happy with this.

OMG my first fish that got me into the hobby at age 6 were swordtails too! I just fell in Love with them as soon as i saw them and habe kept them since so its been 18 Years now. And also calico cats are called "Glückskatze" in Germany which just means lucky cat because they are supposed to be lucky and bring luck to your family. I also Love them and at least one living with me all of my life so far.

Coincidentally the first tropical fish species I kept was also the Swordtail with a common species of Gourami being the second tropical species I kept.Been keeping fish since elementary actually but I started getting serious with the hobby when I got into college.For now,my only tank is the 71.5 gallon South American Riparium but I plan on building a big "Pondarium"(Basically a pond with a glass viewing panel) in the near future in our front yard.Gonna stock it either with large South American species or multiple Lake Malawi Cichlid species. And those Discus though.Shame I don't have the time and money to keep them.I am sticking with Angelfish though because they're relatively easy to keep despite being classed as an Intermediate Level fish.They also look great as a showcase fish and they have rather interesting behaviors.

Lol... Swordtails were my first fishes too :P (together with glowlight tetras) but I had them in a 54L aquarium... And The day after i got them the female had "babies" so i went online to ask for help with the fry and was told that swordtails need atleast a 150L tank so some months after i invested in a 180L tank and that was 10 years ago... I still have the 180L and a 54L but I dont have normal swordtails anymore... Now i have pygmy swordtails and pygmy gouramis in my 54L tank and apistogramma cacatuoides, ram cichlids, honey gouramis and tanichthys albonubes in my 180L tank... And im panning to get a new tank with shell-dwellers but I havent found the right tank yet... ;D

Reptiles are also good pets, I'm glad some of our Filo Countrymen are beginning to appreciate them as pets. I hope smallest species of Pythons such as Antaresias and Blue Tongue Lizards become available in Ph as well.

Dwarf bunnies have a decent lifespan ranging 10 to 12 years. So if you want a rabbit that lives just a bit longer and to some a lot cuter than the bigger ones. Thats the way to go.

Bengals depend on the generation if they are difficult. Myself I have 2 savannah kats. An F6 and an F4 they are just house cats and really sweet, playfull and just simply amazing. Bengals are not much differend apart from them being a bit less cuddly ans focused on human attention, offcourse enough vengal cats which still are cuddly. So just a normal housecat but just way more expensive. They are more playfull and have more hunting feelings from there genes. Personally I absolutely love the 2 breeds but we choose for the savannah because they are more elegant. We are going to breed with our F4 princess 🥰

On the Bengal- I had an egyptian mau for 9 years - they use Egyptian maus to breed Bengals Amazing cats but they have many health problems in the breed. She had 7 medical problems by 9 years old and died from hereditary kidney failure due to inbreeding! We love the look of some purebred cats but due to health problems I will be unlikely to adopt a purebred cat again.

Oh, how interesting! Sorry to hear about your cat passing away. Behaviour-wise, did it have its crazy moments. I remember reading this article on why keeping wild-type cat breeds can be pretty intense, due to their wild side. Is this true? Did it ever attack you?

Go to the streets and adopt some dogs and cats. All my cats are adopted and some of my dogs are either adopted or given to us by its previous owners. There are so many street dogs and street cats that need a home or a shelter. Try adopting some street animals.

I dunno about rabbits in Asia their genetics might be worse but rabbits will easily live for 10 years with good care, they do tend to have shorter lifespans when not given a proper diet with enough hay.

Is that the kuliglig? The one that is noisy at night? Oh my I always wanted to see one, I always wonder what kind of animal they are..hehe. I remember when we were young, no gadget yet, less noise thus I can hear the kuliglig everywhere but now not anymore.
