It's Father's Day so that can only mean one thing, we are back at Clementon Park to update you on everything that this small NJ park has to offer.
Last year we visited and gave you the full explore of both Clementon Park and it's water park, Splash World. Today we are combining both parks into this video and for a small park, there is actually a lot of new things going on.

Back in the 1980's the owners of Clementon Park purchased many rides from Chance MFG. One of these rides was a Chance Thunderbolt. The Thunderbolt was an updated version of the Flying Bobs. This "new" unit was racked in the parking lot I believe in April. I think that this unit predates the updated version and will most likely be a Flying Bobs. I am going by what I could see from the road. The tubs appeared to be the Flying Bobs Style.

they got rid of thunder drop? that's insane. they need one more decent, compact rollercoaster. They should take notes from Nickelodeon Universe.. the Sandys Rocket coaster would be a good fit. I will always be rooting for my hometown theme park, hope it gets some good attractions added in.

Thanks for watching. Gene Staples is pretty good at finding compact coasters (there is one going up at Niagara Amusement Park) so I am sure one will be added soon to Clementon.

The only "Thunderbolt" flatride I know of is a 'Matterhorn' style ride found at many carnivals ... and IMO, not one of the good 'Matterhorn' versions. That said, the framework in the video leads me to believe this is something very different.
