How do you handle all the excess males from every incubator batch? How long can they be kept with the females before they start causing damage to their necks? I read you can't put only males in a coop as they fight too much. How do you balance this situation. I am getting my eggs soon and this is something I haven't found in my research.

Hi, hoping for some advice. I’ve got a quail chick with curled in feet. I’ve seen a couple videos on RU-vid about cutting and sticking card to their feet to fix it. Do you think this works. Would like to help it if I can. It’s now 2 days old

You can get standards from jumbo lines, just choose breeders that fall into the weight range you prefer.

I have a question.. what do you do with all the quail.?. I had quail.. I was getting so many eggs I started throwing them out.. I couldn't eat that many.. I hatched out a few.. I gave some to friends, and they hatched them out.. I was butchering n eating them.. but you can only eat so many.. I liked having them but seemed like allot of waste.. so I'm just curious what do you do with them all.. ?

I don't produce more than I can use, whether it's for egg production, meat or selling as breeders.
